Time skip
Jungkook was over the moon these days. He didn't know the reason for his happiness but still he was very happy. For the past three months his team had destroyed many of Kim's warehouses and also had been able to stop five of his deals all thanks to the plans of the beautiful omega he admired.
His bond with Taehyung had gotten stronger. They were on nickname bases now. Whenever Jungkook was with Taehyung he felt at peace. His heart felt contended and complete. Both the boys would talk to each other whenever they got free from work. They knew almost everything about the other. Jungkook had started liking Taehyung but was hesitant to confess. It will be too early. He will not be comfortable. What will he think about me? He had thought to himself whenever he felt like confessing his feelings.
Today, everyone was at the base to discuss about the deal they had managed to stop two days ago. Everyone was present except Taehyung. They waited for a few hours but the omega didn't show up. "What's taking him so long?" Junghoon asked with an irritation laced in his voice. Jungkook was worried sick though. He took this opportunity to go and search for Taehyung. "I'll go and check on him." He said and went out of the room.
Taehyung on the other hand was cursing himself for being so weak. He had caught a cold a few days ago but instead of getting better it was getting worse and worse. Today was especially bad. He woke up with a tremendous pain in his chest and his useless lungs struggling to take in air despite the cannula.
I'm so useless. Can't even heal myself. He thought when he could not move his body due to the pain. The pain was overwhelming and he could feel black dots clouding his vision. Taehyung didn't want to feel the pain so he let the darkness consume him.

Jungkook had searched through the entire headquarters and only the living quarters were left. He was sure that Taehyung would be in his room. So, there he was standing in front of Taehyung's room and knocking on his door. After not getting any reply he quietly opened the door and was greeted with the sound of heavy panting. He got scared and ran towards the bed but the scene in front of him drained all the colour out of his skin. There laid Taehyung covered in his sweat, panting heavily and face scrunched up in pain. His hand was on his chest in an effort to ease the pain a little.
"Tae! What happened? Open your eyes. Tae! Are you listening to me? " Jungkook yelled frantically trying to wake the boy up but his efforts did not reap him any fruits. His heart started beating faster and he was scared to the core. He quickly picked up Taehyung in his arms and ran towards the infirmary.

"Don't worry too much jungkook. It's just a case of bad flu. His lungs are not in the best condition so he was struggling this much. I have given him the medicines and he will be fine in a few days. You can go in now." The doctor told the ravenette who had been scared shitless for the past few hours.
Jungkook hastily went into the room and saw Taehyung sitting and smiling towards him. Without a second thought Jungkook embraced him like he was the most important and delicate person in the world. "Don't scare me like this the next time." He said and hearing this Taehyung giggled. "The mighty True Blood gets scared this easily. I didn't know that." He said trying to ease the tense ravenette.
"Are you serious right now Tae? You scared the sh*t out of me. You were panting and sweating. You looked like you were in pain and....and I didn't know wh...... What to d.. " He was cut off by a soft pair of lips on his. It took him some time to realize it but then he gently held the omega's waist and deepened the kiss. They both pulled away and then connected their foreheads. None of them said anything. Even if it was a little too early, it just felt right. They felt complete with each other.
They gently separated themselves and looked into each other's eyes. Both saw love in there and could not help but smile. Jungkook could not keep his feelings anymore now that he knew about the other's feelings too. Taking a deep breath he finally asked Taehyung the question he wanted to ask him since many days.
