Breathing heavily I stared at the ceiling. I tilted my head slightly to look at y/n who was already sleeping beside me. A small chuckle escaped my lips when I noticed even in her sleep she was struggling to catch her breath. I slowly pulled the covers over her body and sighed remembering what I had promised at the start of the night. I looked at the clock, 5:30 am was written on it. It was now or never. If I didn't do it right now I knew I would probably always find an excuse not to.

I knocked on his door, secretly hoping he was still asleep and he wouldn't come to the door to answer.

'' Draco? What are you doing here- and why didn't you just walk in by the bathroom? Don't try telling me you and y/n weren't in your room we could hear you guys all night.''

I ran my hand on the back of my neck, realizing I had absolutely no idea what I was going to actually tell him.

'' Look Milo..wait is Emilian sleeping?''

He nodded and opened the door a little bit more so I could see Emilian's sleeping body on his bed, arms wrapped around Luna's body.

'' Oh...want to go for a drink?'' I asked a bit nervously.

Truth is me and Milo hadn't hung out just us two in a very long time.

'' At 5 in the morning?'' that one laughed.

A small smile made its way to my face as I joined in on his laughter.

'' That didn't stop us before.'' I reminded him.

'' Mmm true, let me grab my jacket and I'll meet you downstairs''

I smiled and nodded before making my way to the common room. Even though the tension could be cut off with a knife it still felt nice to talk to him normally.

He soon met me in the common room and we both sneaked out and ran until we were outside the castle.

We laughed as we walked to the Three Broomsticks. I ordered two butterbeer and joined him at the table he was sitting at.

'' So...did you just want a drink or...because you know I'd think if that was the case you'd ask Blaise'' Milo asked.

'' No well- Blaise is I have no idea where and actually I had something to tell you'' I mumbled.

'' Well well is Malfoy going to make a love confession to me?'' that one fake gasped before laughing once more.

'' Oh shove off, this is already hard enough.'' I shook my head as he kept chuckling.

'' Mmm I know mate, loving someone like me isn't easy.'' he sighed dramatically.

I rolled my eyes but couldn't help laughing a bit. I finally looked at him and sighed deeply.

'' I'm sorry mate..'' I pronounced slowly.

'' For what..''

'' Come on..we never fought and now all we do is bicker, I'm sorry I let a girl come between us. I miss our friend group. I miss you and the guys, and how we used to be''

'' Damn Draco I'm not used to you getting all sentimental on me.'' he chuckled but I could still see he was happy with what I had said.

'' I'm sorry too you know'' he admitted '' I let my jealousy take the best of me, I should just have been happy for you and y/n honestly, she brings out a lot of good in you, for example I know damn well if she wasn't in your life you would never have said all this to me'' he said truthfully.

I laughed softly and nodded.

'' She does make me some sort of a softie doesn't she'' I shook my head before taking a sip of by Butterbeer.

'' Oh yes she does'' Milo nodded to which we both started laughing again.

''Don't tell anyone I admitted that tho.''

'' Motus et bouche cousue'' he replied.

'' You know what, lets have a boy night out like we used to do, check out chicks and just hang out'' Milo said

'' that would be nice, without the chick checking part'' I laughed and we both finished our drinks.
