I sat on my bed as draco closed the door. I was still feeling upset about seeing my friends with Isabella but somehow that same feeling made me feel disgusted about myself. It made me feel selfish.

'' Look y/n..'' I heard draco say in a faint voice.

I slightly lifted my gaze to him, noticing him sigh deeply.

'' I had no idea our friends could be that dumb...I never thought they would do that but I'll talk to them and I'll make sure they stay away from her. For good.'' he tried to convince me, once again.

'' They can be friends with whoever they want I'm not mad or even concerned about what we just saw..'' I lied

Draco watched me, clearly not believing a word that was coming out of my mouth.

'' No. No. It's not okay Y/n. They shouldn't be friends with her. They know why she's here. Don't pretend like it's fine. You don't have to pretend when you're with me.'' he walked to me and took both my hands.

I sighed and nodded. I knew he was right.

'' It's just..I feel selfish for being mad. It's like it makes no sense for me to be mad at them for such reason..'' I admitted

I looked at Draco while he opened his mouth to speak but he was quickly cut by Ella barging in the room.

'' Oh good you're here- are you okay?'' she stopped herself mid sentence.

I felt all my anger rising up. Seeing her there asking me if I was okay even though she knew exactly what she did.

'' Why wouldn't I be okay?'' I asked sarcastically which made Ella quite confused.

''I- I don't know I just thought-'' she started

'' Oh I know, because once again something is coming in our way and I can't have a moment of rest. Because the man I'm in love with has a crazy father that sent his ex fiance here to separate us. Because I just saw all my best friends talking to that girl like she was the greatest person on earth'' I spat

'' You saw that?'' she inquired, a guilty look sent both mine and Draco's way

'' Well it's not like you guys were trying to hide'' Draco responded dryly

'' oh guys I'm sorry..y/n come on you know me, I would never do that!'' she looked at me pleadingly

She then wrapped her arms tightly around me.Her hugs always felt so nice, so warm and familiar.

'' Actually I kind of made a scene downstairs when I saw the others being all friendly with Isabella...A scene people aren't close to letting me forget..'' she sighed

I slightly pulled away from the hug so I was able to see her face.

'' Ella what did you do..''

'' My job as a friend! And maybe a bit more..'' she looked down embarassed

'' I'm sure it wasn't that bad'' I smiled and held her hand

'' I'm sorry I ever doubted you Ella.'' I said, feeling embarassed myself

At the same momment the rest of our friends walked in. I quickly noticed they all seemed to be avoiding looking at Ella and it really made me wonder what she did downstairs.

'' They saw you. Making friends with Barbie downstairs.'' Ella spat

'' Oh...'' pansy said slowly

'' Guys I- fuck I'm sorry'' Blaise mumbled

'' Yeah me too I should have been smarter than this..'' Milo completed

Emilian hugged me, then Draco and I understood that was his way of saying sorry.

'' I personally don't even like her if that helps...'' Evanna added

'' Yeah I honestly only talked to her hoping to get some action if you know what I mean'' Milo mumbled ashamed which made Draco frown

'' Dude..'' Blaise stared at Milo, discouraged by his words.

'' What? Oh come on! I know you thought about it too!'' Milo defended himself

Blaise looked away without answering and Emilian coughed awkwardly.

'' Not really helping our case here guys.'' Evanna glared at them.

I bit my lip trying not to laugh at how stupid my friends were.

'' It's okay guys'' I smiled at them

They all seemed to calm down after this except Emilian who still looked tense and rather quiet.

'' You okay 'milian?'' I questioned, making Ella shift uncomfortably.

'' Emilian I'm sorry about your family and what I said..I shouldn't have brought them into this..'' Ella apologised

He looked up at her with a faint smile.

'' I just wish I knew..You know, that you guys knew. That way I would have had people to talk to..'' He admitted

Ella got up and hugged him. We soon all joined the hug, laughing and smiling through it.

''From now on it's us against everything. Fuck rules. Fuck everyone. Everything will be fine as long as we stay together'' Ella let out

We all agreed and kept hugging.

'' I love you whoresss!'' Milo laughed which caused us to burst out laughing.
