I woke up alone in the bed the next morning. The only sound I could hear was the water falling on the shower's floor. I don't know why but I felt a sudden urge to be with him. I sudden need to have his arms around me. Those arms that made me feel so safe and warm. Following my instinct, I got up and walked to the bathroom that was connected to the room Draco was occupying. I opened the door and there he was standing, looking a bit sleepy, his eyes still closed as water dripped down his tight muscles. Without making a sound I walked in the shower and wrapped my arms around his waist, making him jump slightly.

'' Jeez Rivera you almost gave me a heart attack'' he mumbled

'' Can you hold me...?'' I said in a small voice

Without answering he turned around and brought me into a hug. His arms held me close to him while my body melted into his hold.

'' That's not really a thing you do when you're just friends'' Draco teased

I didn't answer. We both knew we weren't just friends. We never were. But I didn't want to put a label anymore. Labels meant getting hurt...and I couldn't do that again. I wasn't ready, not now at least.

'' Riv?'' he whispered

'' yeah?'' I answered as I rested my head on his chest

'' I'm sorry'' He murmured so quietly I could barely hear him

'' For what?''

'' Everything...fucking us up. Losing you...'' he mumbled the last part under his breath

I smiled and kissed his cheek.

'' Look at you, all soft and shit'' I giggled

'' Oh shut up.'' he rolled his eyes playfully

'' make me.'' I smirked

'' later darling. later..'' he smiled and kissed my head

I sat at the table eating my eggs as me and Draco kept looking at each other, sharing smiles and small looks. We had been doing it all morning. I didn't know what this was. What we were. But I liked it. It felt right.

'' So'' Milo started '' I had fun last night'' He completed with a smirk, making me choke on my eggs.

'' yeah me too, even though the movie was shit I really loved spending time with you guys.'' Blaise added as he didn't understand what milo truly meant.

I noticed Emilian looking blankly at his pancakes. His normally hearty features looked rather dull right now but, before I could ask and see what's wrong we heard the front door open.

'' We're here!!!'' I heard Evanna's voice yell while she and Pansy ran into the dining room happily.

Seeing the lack of enthusiasm we were all showing Evanna's sweet smile dropped.

'' What's wrong with you guys?'' Pansy asked

'' I'm great actually come on Blaise let's go play some video games'' Milo said as he jumped up and brought blaise with him

'' I mean I know Draco is just always in a bad mood but what about you guys?'' evanna teased

'' Fuck you'' Draco rolled his eyes.

'' You wish'' she giggled

'' No he doesn't.'' I snapped, making draco smirk and look at me

'' Um...anyway ella how are you'' Pansy changed the subject

'' Oliver broke up with me...'' that one mumbled angrily

I switched my glare to her and tried to find any sight of sadness but somehow she seemed rather mad.

'' Aren't you sad?'' I said

'' I was when I found out last night but now I'm just pissed. Who does he think he is leaving someone like me uh? He'll never find someone better.''

'' That's the spirit baby'' I tried to cheer her up

'' Yeah whatever I'm going to take a shower'' She said as she got up

'' What about you emi-'' Evie started but was cut by him getting up

'' Im fine.'' He spat as he quickly walked upstair.

'' Well that's a rather shit welcome'' evanna muttered

I knew something was up with Emilian so I decided to go check on him. I walked to his room and knocked on the door. Not having any answer I opened it and walked in. What I saw broke my heart.

There he was. Sitting on his bed, broken down crying in a way I've never seen him cry. Emilian, the one who always knew what to do. The one that always helped others. Him with his usual so warm smile now looking so broken.

'' Are you okay..'' I asked

stupid. Oh my god I was so stupid.

Feeling like talking wasn't going to get me anywhere, I walked up to him and hugged him.

'' It's going to be okay'' I whispered while stroking his back softly.

'' I promise''

I'll make sure of it.

I'm backkkk. I honestly don't have a clue where I'm going with this story most of the time lmao. I just follow my guts and  invent the chapters as I write them. I do have some ideas for next chapters though so you guys better hold on. As always, vote and comment loves.
