When the past catches up Donnie x reader

The four brothers looked on.  None quite sure they could believe their eyes.  'Xever!!??  Raph whisper growled.  'What  the shell is he doing here?'  Donnie added.  The four watched as Xever, landed on (y/n)'s fire escape and peered in the window.  They heard him growl when he saw that her apartment was once again empty.  'What do we do Leo?'  Mikey whispered.  Leo didn't answer.  On closer inspection Mikey could see he was watching Xever intently, Leo's brow was furrowed.  Telling Mikey his leader brother was thinking.  'Leo!'  Raph whisper growled.  'He's leaving.  Whatta we do?'  Leo sat up straight and without looking away from Xever's direction replied.  'Nothing.'  'NOTHING!?'  All three brother whisper shouted.  The leader turned to face his team.  'That's right.  Nothing.'  He locked the eye's with his brothers.  'But why bro?'  Mikey asked.  'One against four, well... three and a half, Donnie can't fight.  Still good odds.'  Leo glared at Mikey.  'We have Donnie's surveillance tech in place.  I wanna know how often he's coming around.  Weather it be nightly, weekly or what.  Also I'm curious to see if it's only Xever who's coming around.'  Leo informed.  The leader looked over his shoulder back in the direction of Xever to see he had disappeared.  He looked back at his brothers as they paused for a moment whilst they thought about what Leo said.  'But why can't we jus pound that outta Xever now!?'  Raph asked.  'I think it's best he doesn't know we're on to him just yet.'  Leo answered.  Raph sighed.  'Ugh.  Fiiiiiine!'  He groaned.  'I think it's time we head back to the lair.'  Leo said standing up.  'Yeah, c'mon dudes, (y/n) will be wondering where we are.'  Mikey said.  And with that the brothers began to make their way back.  

Meanwhile back in the lair, (y/n) was sat on the sofa with April who insisted she would stay with her friend.  'Do you think the guys have found anything?'  April shrugged.  'They have been gone a few hours now.  They could have.'  April said.  The girls sat in silence each had their own thoughts to ponder on.  'Yo dudeuttes, your four favourite turtles are baaack!'  Mikey's voice called from the entrance pulling them both from their thoughts.  'Hey guys!'  April called getting up and walking to the entrance to greet them.  (Y/n) remained on the sofa, watching April, and smiling at the sight of her friends.  'Did you find anything out?'  April asked.  'We did.  Come on, we'll tell you both at the table.'  (Y/n) eagerly jumped up and rushed to join the others to find out all they had found out.  'Did you find out who it is?'  She asked, looking at all four turtles.  'Yeah.  We caught them in the act.'  April and (y/n) both looked at each other before back to Leo.  'WHO!?'  They both said together.  'Xever!'  Leo replied.  'Xever?' April echoed.  'What in the world would he want with (y/n)?'  April asked.  'We don't know'  Leo shrugged.  'Didn't you find out?'  April continued to question.  'No, we let him go!'  Raph chimed in sarcastically throwing Leo a dirty glare.  April spun round to face Leo.  'You let him go!!?  Why!!?'  Leo sighed as he began to explain what he had already said to his brothers.  Once he had finished, (y/n) found herself feeling numb.  She wasn't relieved, nor was she any more worried or scared than  before.  She thought finding out would ease her mind, but it's just left her with more questions.        

'I'm going to go and meditate.'  Leo announced.  'I need to work out what we should do next.'  He said as he made his way towards his room.  He decided his room might be more peaceful then the dojo.  He let out a deep sigh as he closed the door to his room.  He lit some candles and incense and got himself into position.  It didn't take Leo long to zone out, find his centre, and begin to feel himself relaxing.  Soon the experienced ninja was deep into his meditation.  Allowing his subconscious to freely roam.  After an unknown length of time Leo felt something shift around him.  Suddenly he felt surrounded by and anxious energy.  He searched for the source.  Suddenly an image of Karai's face filled his mind.  'Karai?'  He said confused.  She only managed to say two words before the image of her face faded.  'Leo!  Hamoura!' Leo snapped out of his trance.  'Karai?'  He repeated to himself before jumping up and rushing out of his room, past his brothers in the kitchen towards the Dojo and to his father.  'Leo?'  Raph called out after the leader.  'Was it me or did Leo look two shades lighter?'  Mikey said.  'No. No your right lil brotha.'  Raph said and started after Leo.  Mikey and Donnie stayed in the kitchen with (y/n).  They could see she was upset and wanted to help calm her.  What ever was wrong with Leo the two younger brothers knew Raph could handle it.
