When the past catches up Donnie x reader

Her Inner Struggle

Your POV

It had been a few days now since I got out the hospital.  I haven't returned to my apartment yet. I'm still in the lair with the guys.  I was sat on the couch playing on my phone.  I was lucky that Mikey had found my hand bag back in the lab whilst they were searching for all the notes Vince had on them.  It still had all my stuff in it.  I was so thankful.  I have so much stuff on my phone, including all my friends from the UK's numbers etc.  

I was sat thinking about the first night I came home with April, Casey, and Donnie.  It was a heartfelt day.  I went to bed quite early.  Although I felt well enough, I was shattered, and was desperate for more sleep.  Not too long after I went to sleep Master Splinter had awoken, it was then that Donnie and the others had filled him in on all that had occurred on the rescue mission.  

*Flashback*

'My sons, were you successful in your mission to bring (y/n) home?'  All four turtles stood.  Leo bowed to their father. 'Hai Sensei.'  Leo answered.  Master Splinter looked around the lair.  'Where is she?'  Donnie looked up.  'She's resting Sensei, she's well though.  Just tired.'  Master Splinter nodded.  'I understand, please my sons will you come and tell me all that has happened?'  'Hai Sensei,  actually, we can show you some of it.' The rat Master looked at his sons with a quizzical look.  'Very well my sons.  I shall await you all in the Dojo.'  And with that he made his way across the lair.  Donnie fetched his laptop where the footage from the Spy Roach had been stored and he and his brothers made their way to the Dojo.  The brothers told him everything, and showed him all the footage Donnie had.  All four brothers watched their Sensei's reaction when the video reached the part where Vince began to hit (y/n).  He pulled his ears back, and the brothers could see the anger in his eyes, as well as distress and sadness.  Once the footage had finished and the brothers continued to the end of the story.  Master Splinter sat on the mat of the Dojo, he looked down and sighed sadly.  'That poor girl, what that monster of a man did to her.'  The brothers could see the anger bubble inside their father.  An anger that they have only ever seen once before.  The day Raph's shell was cracked from being chased by a Kraang Drone.  'You all did well my sons.'  Splinter said.  'Now please I must meditate.  Please come and tell me when (y/n) has arisen'   The four brothers all stood and bowed to their Sensei  'Yes Sensei'  Leo said and they left him to his meditation.

'Wow!'  Sensei looked pissed yo.'  Mikey said.  'Yeah, well, he cares about (y/n) as much as the rest of us Mikey!'  Leo said.  It was about an hour later when (y/n) emerged out of the bedroom.  She was wearing her sleep shorts and a t-shirt meaning the marks from her bonds and the marks from the Cain on her thighs were completely exposed.  'Hey guys.'  She said wiping her eyes.  'Dudette!'  Mikey called happily and ran to her.  'Are you ok?'  He said.  She held out her hand for Mikey's.  'Yeah, i'm fine thanks Mikey, I just need tea.'  She said and began to head to the kitchen.  'Here, lemme help ya!'  Mikey offered and led her to the kitchen table.  As they were walking Raph came out of his room and saw (y/n) and Mikey walking.  As he tried to catch up to them, 'Hey guys!'  He called.  Mikey and (y/n) turned round 'Hey Raph!'  (Y/n) said grinning at him.  But Raph stopped in his tracks when he saw the marks on (y/n)'s legs.  He felt his stomach twist a bit, his eyes moved to her wrists and ankles.  Suddenly the whole scene on Vince striking her came to his mind.  'I, Uh, I'll be with ya both in a tick.'  He said and rushed to the bathroom.  Mikey and (y/n) watched him perplexed at his sudden change of direction.  'What was that?'  (Y/n) asked.  'No idea Dudette.'  Mikey shrugged.  'I know.'  A voice came from the Dojo.  They each turned their heads to see Leo.  'Raph is really struggling with what happened to you (y/n).  He's taken it hard.'  (Y/n) looked back at the bathroom door.  'Should I talk to him?'  Leo followed her gaze to the bathroom.  'Maybe, lets give him some time first.'  (Y/n) nodded.  'Yeah, ok'  She said as her and Mikey continued to the kitchen.  'Oh, by the way (y/n), Sensei would like to see you when your ready.'  Leo says.  'Ok Leo, I'll drink my tea, change and then I'll head in to see him.'
