Kai's POV
When we got to school, I tried to brace myself for the bullies. But I couldn't.
My locker was covered in lots of paper, saying 'go kill yourself' or ' fag' and some others that I just won't mention.
"Why do they keep doing this." Alec growled.
"Calm down Alec." Grace said placing her hand on his arm.
"Alec, its fine. I'm used to it." I replied.
"I don't give a shit whether you are used to it or not. You aren't fine." He shouted.
"Fine. What do you want me to do. Break down everyday."
"No, I just want you to talk to us."
"Yeah, please Kai. Just talk to us."
"Fine. I've got to go now, bye."
I started walking to my first class. English yay.
I sat down in my seat waiting for class to begin.
"Today we are working in partners. And before you start picking them, I'm choosing." The teacher said as she walked in.
"Right, Drake and Melissa."
I tuned out until I heard my name.
"Kai and Seth."
Wait what. Seth. Dammit.
"Okay, you have to ask your partner questions, and record them, then write a essay on them."
"Kai, can I sit here?" Seth asked.
"Sure, we are partners." I replied.
"Okay, I'll ask you some questions."
"Fine"
"First, what is your full name?"
"Jace Kai Blakely, and yours."
"Seth Daniels. Why do you go by Kai?"
"My twin always called me Jacey and he was killed when I was seven, so yeah." Shit. I just told a stranger something really personal.
"Class, you are to finish this in your spare time or, after school."
"Okay, Kai meet me in the library at four."
"Okay."
With that he walked back to his seat and got his bag.
When class ended I met up with Alec and Grace since we have music together.
The rest of the day passed normally until the end.
I was walking to my locker when Drake and Steve walked up to me.
"Hey fag." They sneered at me.
I ignored them and turned around.
"We are talking to you."
Drake grabbed my face and made me look at them.
"Look at us when we are talking to you." Drake said.
I tried to wiggle myself away from them.
"Aww look at the fag trying to escape." Steve sneered.
"Don't try to escape, it will only make it worse." Drake added.
I still struggled against them. That is until Drake drew his fist back and punched me in the stomach, he kept punching in my face and stomach until I was lying on the floor nearly passed.
"STOP RIGHT NOW." a voice shouted from behind.
"Woah Zach sorry, but what. You want us to stop beating the fag." Drake said with bewilderment in his voice.
"Yes, unless both of you want to be off of the football team."
"You can't take us of the team." Steve stuttered.
"Yes I can, I am the co-captain and I might just stop you playing for the rest of the season." Zach smirked.
At that Drake and Steve ran away. Ha as if they could run away from a werewolf, a Beta at that.
"Shit, Kai don't fall asleep on me." He said picking me up in his arms. "God dammit I hate the two of them. They always beat on anyone smaller than them."
"It's fine, I'm used to them." I slurred, trying to stay awake.
"You aren't fine. They just beat you nearly unconscious."
"Let me sleep." I slurred.
"No no don't sleep. Stay awake, at lease until we get to the house"
Zach is Seth's future beta. He is probably the only person in the pack who talks to me as a friend.
"Zach, what happened to him." I heard a voice shout.
"Drake and Steve, stupid homophobes."
"Okay, let me take him to the pack doctor." The voice said.
"Seth, let me come with you." Zach said to the voice, whom I'm guessing is Seth.
"Fine, let's go." Seth responded.
I felt myself being sat down on a soft surface with my head in someone's lap before I fell asleep.
