Kai's POV
After a weekend of lying watching movies with Seth I really didn't want to go to school but I new I had to.
I went for a quick shower, and dried my hair before I chucked on a pair of black skinnys and a Nirvana band tee, with a black hoodie and my black and tie-dye vans.
I ran out of my room, but not before I grabbed my phone, earphones and bag.
"Hey." A voice shouted me as I walked downstairs.
I turned around to see my twin.
"Kian." I screamed as I ran and gave him a hug.
"Nice to see you as well." He laughed.
"Yeah. Let's go."
We walked outside to see Alec and Grace on their car with Dom sitting in the back.
"Let's go bitches." Alec shouted.
"Excuse me." I fake cried." How dare you insult me."
"Shut up and get in." Grace muttered.
"Put civil war on, put it on." I shouted bouncing in my seat.
"Fine, but only because I like G'n'R." Alec shouted back.
"Yes." I screamed.
The song started.
(Bold is when they all singing, italics just Axl and Kai.)
What we've got here is a failure to communicate
Some man who just can't reach
So you get what we had here last week
Which is the way he wants it
Well he gets itI don't like it anymore than you may
Look at your young man fighting
Look at your woman crying
Look at your young man dying
The way they've always done beforeLook at the hate we're breeding
Look at the fear we're feeding
Look at the lives we're leading
The way we've always done beforeMy hands are tied
The billions shift from side to side
And the wars go on with brainwashed pride
For the love of god and pur human rights
And all theses things are swept aside
By bloody hands time can't deny
And are washed away by your genocide
And history the lies of our civil warDid you wear a black armband when they shot the man who said ' peace could last forever'
And in my first memories they shot Kennedy
I went numb when I learned to see
So o never fell for Vietnam
We got the wall of D.C to reming us all
That you can't trust freedom when It's not in your hands
When everybody's fighting for their promise landI don't need your civil war
It feeds the rich, while it buries the poor
Your power hungry selling soldiers in a human grocery, ain't that fresh.
I don't your civil war.Look at the shoes your filling
Look at the blood we're spilling
Look at the world we're killing
The way we've always done beforeLook in the doubt we've wallowed
Look at the leaders we've followed
Look at the lives we've swallowed
And I don't want to hear no moreMy hands are tied
For all I've seen has changed my mind
But still the wars go on and the years go by
With no love of god or human rights
As all these dreams are swept aside
By bloody hands of the hypnotized
Who carry the cross of homicide
And history bears the scars of our civil warI don't need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
Power hungry sellingsoldiers in a human grocery store, ain't that fresh
I don't need your civil warI don't need your civil war
I don't need your civil war
Your power hungry selling soldiers in human grocery store, ain't that fresh
I don't need your civil warI don't need one more war
I don't need one more war
What's so civil bout war anyway
At that point we had pulled up to the school.
We all got out of the car and started walking towards our first class.
I had science first, Seth was in this class.
I walked in to see a new boy sitting in the seat next to mine.
"Excuse me, umm hi. I'm Kai. What's your name?" I asked trying to be polite.
"Aww you don't remember me, aww what a shame. I'm Perry." He said and smirked as he saw my reaction.
"I missed you so much. I haven't seen you since I was like 7." I replied smiling and giving him a hug.
"I know and I decided to come and find you so we can get married when we finish high school like you promised me." He blabbered.
It was at the time he said that, that Seth walked in and heard it.
He came up to me and wrapped his arms around me and growled at Perry one word that I will never forget. That sent shivers down my spine.
"Mine."
