Leafy rubbed at her bracelets, unsure and afraid to learn what has changed about them.

"Are you nervous?"

Leafy looked up at Four, who seemed to be taking notes while they were walking. The two of them were walking down a hall. The doors they walked past had nails drilled down into their doorways, and each door required a keycard that only doctors and a few selected subjects were allowed to have, each for specific rooms. It was a dimly lit hall, painted with grey colors on the walls and the ceiling. This area seemed to be well controlled.

Four glanced towards Leafy, still waiting for a response.

"Not exactly

"Not exactly.." she continued to rub at her bracelets, hating how tight they felt around her wrists.

Four didn't question much else and simply continued to walk alongside her until they reached a door that was almost exactly the same as all the other doors, the only difference being the sign at the top of the doorway.

Leafy looked up at the sign. "Prototype L-1," she read out loud as she gave a confused look.

"You will be going into the room. It will be dark for a bit but once I get to the safe room you'll be able to see where you are."

Four took out a keycard from their pocket and put it up to the scanner, and the door opened before them. The room was dark and quiet. Leafy walked into the room, feeling the cold hard floor beneath her paw pads. The door shut behind her, leaving her in the cold, pitch black room. She waited a few minutes, trying to walk around the room, until the lights turned on.

The room revealed itself to her now. It was a grey room, the same color as the halls outside. Dried blood and many other dried liquids covered the floor and walls, making the room seem rather colorful, though in a dull way. Claw marks also covered the room's surfaces. Many marks seemed to have been made out of pure anger while other marks seemed precise, as though whatever made them was trying to communicate in their own way. Leafy couldn't pay much attention to many of the details due to the room smelling like rotting corpses. She had to focus on holding her breath and taking in a few breaths every once in a while. A speaker clicked, then came a voice, "L-1, this is your only living kin, your task here is to try and get this prototype to cooperate with us."
