Keith POV aha
We started walking around, looking at clothes and talking about different fashion styles.
"So what do you wear other than that?" Pico asked me, nodding at my current outfit.
"Hoodies, I like cargo pants and jeans.. Black, blue, red.." Now that I think about it, I don't have an exact style.
"So you just wear whatever's comfy?"
"Pretty much" I thought for a second. "What about you?"
"I usually wear sweaters, jeans, and leather jackets."
"Ever gone to Spencer's?" I asked.
"Not my type of store, but I have been because a friend of mine kept begging me." He responded, looking down as he said the last part.
As we were walking, I caught a glimpse of an Auntie Anne's on the upper floor, and my tastebuds reminded me of the fact that it had been a while since I had one of their pretzels. And it was right there, so I grabbed onto Pico's sweater.
"Can we go to that Auntie Anne's ? Please? I need one of their pretzels right now." I sounded like a little kid begging to his mother, after being rejected almost 5 times now.
"I'm not gonna stop you, but I ain't paying." He put his hands in his pockets, looking down at me. I could've been wrong, but I swore I saw a little redness to his freckled face.
"Have you ever gotten one of their pretzels? They're amazing!" I started pulling him to an escalator.
"Mhm.." He sounded distant, I don't think he was paying attention.
I glared at him. "Are you even paying attention?"
His eyes quickly darted to look at mine, before looking away again. " Sorry, I got distracted, but I can't really say that I've tried them though."
"YOU HAVEN'T?" I gasped dramatically. As soon as we got off the escalator, I practically dragged him to the Auntie Anne's. There wasn't much of a line so I quickly ordered us both a pretzel. We sat down at a table in the food court and I handed him his food.
"Out of all the places we could of gotten food from, you got us.. pretzels?" He stared at me, obviously a bit disappointed.
"Just try it." I barely managed to utter with my mouth full.
He glared at me before taking a piece off the pretzel and putting it in his mouth. I stared at him, waiting for his reaction.
"That was.. actually pretty good."
"See! Now try it with the cheese." I pushed a little thing, of what looked to be like nacho cheese, in his direction.
I continued eating the pretzel, looking up at Pico every now and then to get his reaction from the food. I finished off my pretzel and offered to take his trash.
As I walked up to the trash bun, I heard the sound of someone taking a picture. I turned around and there was a girl (THIS IS NOT SKY) shoving a camera in my face.
"W-What are you doing?" I questioned her, trying to move away from her, but she practically had me pinned to the bin.
"You're Boyfriend right?" She spoke fast. I paused, I didn't want to bring unwanted attention to myself, but she obviously knows it's me.
"Were you taking pictures of me?"
"Uhh.. y- maybe." She was definitely taking pictures of me. I looked over at Pico, hoping that he would've realized something was wrong. "You never answered my question though." She continued.
"Could you please leave me alone?"
"Who's that guy over there? You got a new boyfriend?"
"I-I don't have to tell you that."
"You should be with Girlfriend right now."
"She broke up with me though."
"No, you broke up with her. Didn't you?"
"Leave me alone!" I raised my voice just high enough to get Pico's attention, but not getting everyone to look at me.
She continued asking me questions about Cherry and Pico. I wanted to push her away from me, but she'd probably get mad and call mall security for me touching her. I looked over at Pico, who had gotten up and was making his way over to us.
"Hey." He tapped her shoulder trying to get her attention, and she turned around to look at him. She opened her mouth to start asking questions to him, but Pico interrupted her.
"What are you doing?" He loomed over her, most likely trying to intimate her, "Shouldn't you be off with your friends instead of harassing people?"
"Uhm.. yeah I should be." She started walking away, watching Pico. No, not watching Pico, but something he was holding. I peeked around to look at it, but he covered it back up.
"Thanks, she was giving me a hard time." I gave him a smile.
"Yeah, no problem. Let's just go look for more clothes. We haven't even gotten anything yet." He smiled back at me. We started walking towards a Hot Topic, and before we could reach the door, my phone started blowing up. My eyes widened as I turned to Pico.
"Do you think she.."
"Yep."
This was a long one. 856 words.
