The Invisible Woman Susan Richards creates force fields around all her major arteries and the knife as Emma Frost the White Queen of the Hellfire Club plunges it into her stomach. Susan's force fields protects her from fatal damage and after Emma pulls the knife out, Invisible Woman creates another force field to insure she won't bleed out. Sue lays on the ground in a fetal position convincing the White Queen she's incapacitated. "Pitiful..." Emma scoffs as she leaves the room, her white satin cape flowing behind her.
Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff bites down her her cherry red lips gently as blood drips from her shoulder. The mutant known as Mystique lays in front of Black Widow seizing in a state of shock from one of Natasha's electrical Widow Bite attacks. Nat does her best to field dress her shoulder wound as she leaves the control room.
Felicia cries out in pain as Lockheed's talons press into both her shoulders, dangling in the air as the creature carries her away. Black Cats suit protecting her from being pierced by Lockheed's claws. Felicia digs her retractable claws into the creatures ankles before swinging up and flipping onto the creatures back. Kicking the dragon like alien to the ground with a slight thud upon impact. Kitty Pryde a mutant known as Shadowcat runs over to comfort her longtime companion, Lockheed. "You okay, buddy?" Kitty asks sincerely, tears streaming down her face.
Lockheed looks up with pain in his yellow eyes as he nuzzles into Kitty's hand. Anger boils inside Shadowcat as she screams out in rage. Using her intangibility to walk across the air towards Felicia. Kitty lands on the ground before spinning around and taking Black Cat down with a hard cross lariat. "There, now we're even." Kitty says as Felicia rolls over gasping for air.
Meanwhile outside the Massachusetts Academy Ororo Monroe a mutant known as Storm eyes glow a blinding white light as she floats out of the X-Men Blackbird jet after it was destroyed by the magnetic powered villainess Lorna Dane, Polaris. Wind swirls around Storm as clouds begin to form and rain falls, pouring down around the mutants. Thunder cracks across the sky in the distance as Storm calls down lightning upon Lorna. Polaris creates a metal dome around her to protect herself from Storms lightning attack. Just then the White Queen, Emma Frost steps outside as Ororo's storm grows stronger.
Emma Frost walks down the stairs of her school as Shadowcat phases through the doors. Suddenly Kitty tackles the White Queen down the steps. Emma's skin turns to diamond as the two mutants tumble down the stairs outside the Massachusetts Academy. Kitty swings a foot around to kick the White Queen across her diamond skinned face. A soft thud rings throughout Kitty's bones upon impact with Emma's diamond skin. "Ow..." Shadowcat groans as the White Queen stands up in her diamond form.
Emma grabs Kitty by the throat, looking her over before tossing her aside. "Pathetic..."
Kitty hits the ground and exclaims softly before grabbing at her leg in pain. Lockheed bursts through the windows of the academy breathing fire. Emma shrieks as her diamond skin begins heating up.
The White Queen cries out in her diamond form as she falls to her knees, Lockheed blasting Emma with fire. Lorna shoots metal shards from her dome structure. The purple dragon-like alien Lockheed is forced to retreat as metal shards fly through the air at him caused by Magneto's daughter Polaris.
Inside the Massachusetts Academy Natasha stumbles across the Invisible Woman, Sue Richards as Sue lays in a small pool of crimson blood. Black Widow runs over to Sue, kneeling down next to her. Nat covers Sue's wound with the palm of her hand. "What happened, Sue?" Nat asks worriedly trying to stop the apparent bleeding.
"That bitch... the White Queen. I'm fine as long as I focus on my force fields I can stop the bleeding." Sue says somewhat weakling, most likely drained from using her abilities so frequently recently.
Natasha helps Susan to her feet as the two walk down the hallway. Black Widow holding the Invisible Woman up by draping Sue's arm across Nat's shoulder. Just then Felicia stumbles across the two injured heroines.
"Oh no..." Black Cat gasps upon seeing Invisible Woman bleeding and Black Widows shoulder wounded too.
Black Widow readies her gauntlet as electrical energy surges around her wrist. Felicia holds up her hands showing that she doesn't want to fight. Natasha carries Sue past Black Cat, carefully and slowly. Watching Felicia closely as they past by.
Once the hero's get out of sight Mystique rounds the corner, running into Felicia.
"Where are they?" Raven growls.
"No idea... sounds like a storms brewing outside though." Felicia says licking her wounds like a cat.
"Then let's move!" Mystique says grabbing Black Cat by the arm leading her outside.
Natasha and Sue exit the Massachusetts Academy as Storm summons a huge tornado that destroys Polaris' metal dome structure. The cyclone sends Lorna crashing into a steaming diamond skinned Emma Frost as she cools off from Lockheed's fire breath. Storm then creates a thick fog calling out to her friends, "This way!" Ororo says leaving a path through the fog for her friends to follow.
Natasha carries Sue as Kitty gets up, limping behind them. Storm leads them into the forest behind the academy, Lockheed joining them as Ororo's eyes glow brightly continuously influencing the weather with rain, wind, and fog. Black Cat and Mystique run outside to find Polaris on top of Emma Frost under the cover of fog. Lorna groans as she climbs off of Emma. "Sorry..." Lorna says disappointed in herself by letting them escape.
"As you should be, now go find them!" Emma yells as she leans up, dusting the cold snow off her shoulders.
