Marvel Story: X-Men First Class

Chapter #7

Natasha returns to the Blackbird with information on the whereabouts of Emma Frosts academy for young mutants. She tells Ororo the location of the school and Storm takes off in the jet. The hero's arrive on the outskirts of the Massachusetts Academy.

Natasha stands beside Ororo around a holographic table. "This is where I'll enter. Once I make it to the control room I'll radio in letting Kitty know to bring in Sue so they can start their missions. Storm guard the jet it's our only source of a quick escape." Black Widow says to the group.

After discussing strategy the team sets out on their mission leaving Storm behind on the Blackbird X-Men jet. Black Widow sneaks in first, finding a nearby ventilation system. Climbing through the vents, Natasha looks for the control room.

Kitty and Sue wait back as Storm surrounds the nearby area in a cloud of fog. Under the cover of fog Kitty looks to Sue. Lockheed perches on Shadowcats shoulder. "Ever wonder if..." Kitty was in the middle of saying when Black Widow comes over the radio.

"I found the control room, three guards, standby..." Natasha says before nothing but silence is heard over the radio.

Black Widow leaps down from the vent landing on the shoulders of a guard. Wrapping her legs around his head she uses the momentum from her body movement to sling him across the room, crashing into a wall as she lands in a crouched position. A slight smirk stretched across her ruby red lips as she blows a few strands of her ginger hair out of her face. With an electrical blast from her Widow Bite another guard is taken down. The last one is dispatched after Natasha pulls out her batons, attaching them together to make a long metallic bostaff which she uses to slam across the last guards face. "Too easy..." Nattie scoffs taking a seat in front of the control rooms monitors.

"Alright team, I've got eyes and ears in the control room. Time to move in." Black Widow says through her headset com-link.

Shadowcat phases her and Susan through the side of the building before splitting up. Kitty walking through walls towards the reactor and Sue turning invisible while looking for the White Queen, Emma Frost.

Kitty wastes no time finding the reactor, "I'm here at the reactor." She says radioing in.

"Stand by... Sue?" Nat responses into the com.

While invisibly sneaking through the halls of the Massachusetts Academy Sue goes to respond on her com until she spots a woman dressed in white. A blue skinned mutant follows closely behind the White Queen. Sue creates an invisible force field around her mind to protect her from Emma's telepathic powers.

"What the hell was that? You said she was a capable fighter!" Emma yells at Mystique.

"She sure put up a fight over that diamond..." Raven says under her breath.

Reading her mind Emma replies with, "Of course, she's a petty thief. We're not paying her to hesitate and let her feelings get in the way of our mission."

Just then Polaris approaches the other mutants, "I like Felicia, I think she's nice... we all can't be stone cold like you Ms.Frost. ...No disrespect of course." Lorna adds.

"Right, Mystique mind showing Ms.Dane back to her room. Seems I should speak with our new employee Ms.Hardy." Emma says her white silk cape flowing behind her as she walks  away down the hall.

Raven takes Lorna back to her room while Sue invisibly follows behind the White Queen. Emma knocks on the door to Felicia's room. Black Cat answers to see Emma standing in front of her. "Oh... yeah, sorry about earlier today. I wasn't expecting so many young kids to be around. Kinda felt... I don't know, dangerous I guess." Felicia explains.

Emma scoffs, rolling her icy blue eyes. "Never mind that... I don't think you'll be needing your assist—" The White Queen was in the middle of saying when the lights cut out.

Kitty phases her hand through the reactor, pulling out its power cell. "Lights out." Shadowcat says to herself while Lockheed flies around nearby.

Sue creates an invisible force field and throws it at Felicia knocking her out the second story window. Black Cat screams before using her grappling hook, luckily being able to swing back in through the ground floor window directly below. Felicia crashes through the glass rolling on her side before stopping herself. A soft groan of pain escapes Black Cats lips and she struggles to get to her feet.

Emma communicates telepathically to Felicia, Raven, and Lorna saying, "Black Cat, go to the reactor and get the power back on. Mystique go to the control room, I need eyes and ears. And Polaris check the school grounds... we have unwanted visitors."

The White Queens minions go to work with Felicia limping down the hall towards the reactor. Raven runs off towards the control room. And Lorna steps outside, walking down the steps of the Massachusetts Academy.

Snowflakes fall slowly in the cold wind. Sprinkles of ice land in Lornas green hair as she walks through the snow. Polaris wraps her green cape around her neck like a scarf before spotting a thick fog in the distance. Seeming out of place, Lorna approaches the fog. "Gotcha!" Polaris snarls.
