Storm along with Kitty Pryde, Black Widow, and the Invisible Woman find a nearby cave in the woods behind the snow covered Massachusetts Academy to hide out in. Natasha goes to work, collecting dry wood to start a fire. Kitty helps Sue by field-dressing her stomach wound caused by the White Queen Emma Frost.

Ororo meditates near the edge of the cave to keep the fog surrounding the forest behind the Massachusetts Academy going. Widow gets a fire going rather quickly, pulling out a knife to heat in the fire. Nat bites down on her ruby red lips as she cauterizes her shoulders bullet wound she got from the blue skinned mutant shapeshifter known as Mystique.

Sue's lips begin to turn a slight blue and her skin grows pale due to the loss of blood she's sustained. Nat approaches with her knifes blade smoldering hot. Black Widow offers Sue a look of concern as she kneels down to her. "This might hurt..." Nat tries to say jokingly, knowing this should hurt quite a bit actually.

Sue covers her mouth as she cries out in pain. The hot knife blade burning her flesh, cauterizing her wound. Invisible Woman closes her eyes, passing out from shock.

Nat gasps as Sue passes out. Widow catches her head, laying her down gently. Kitty checking her pulse quickly before sighing softly. "She's alive, there's a pulse. It's weak but it's there." Kitty says, tears in her eyes.

"Don't worry, she's a fighter. Like all of us. Let's just focus on cleaning her wound and keeping her warm." Natasha says walking over to the edge of the cave and Storm.

Kitty does as told, cleaning Sue's cauterized wound as Lockheed breathes life into the little fire Black Widow started. Nat approaches Ororo at the edge of the cave. Widow looks over Storm concernedly. "Why don't you take a break. It's getting late and you've exhausted your mutant abilities." Nat tries to say with thunder and lightning cracking across the sky in the distance as rain pours down heavily.

Nat backs away slightly before folding her arms. Ororo lowers her head and sighs as the rain calms and the skies clear. Getting up Ororo nods to Natasha. "You're right." Storm says somewhat sadly.

"What's the matter?" Nat asks, placing a hand gently on Ororo's shoulder.

"We didn't manage to save any students... lost our jet and we're stuck out in the wilderness with no way home." Storm says through a groan of frustration.

"Believe it or not, I'd been through worse." Black Widow says with a slight, friendly smile.

Ororo raises a brow, "How so?" Storm asks.

"Try going up against another Widow, like fighting a mirror." Nat scoffs playful as she recalls a faint distant memory.

"Have you... ever fought another Widow?" Ororo asks Natasha.

"A few times... I guess you could call her my annoying little sister." Nat says sitting down next to Storm as the fog clears and the sun sets over the horizon through the trees.

"Who is she?" Storm ask seeing as how Black Widow rarely opens up to her about her past.

"Yelena Belova, a Black Widow... like me. I got out went I came to work for S.H.I.E.L.D. Had to leave her behind... she's never forgiven me." Nat says lowering her head slightly some her ginger hair covers the tears forming in her green irises.

Storm leans her head on Natasha's shoulder, "I'm so sorry Nat." Ororo says to Black Widow with an endearing tone of voice.

Nat leans into Storm, laying her face on Ororo's white haired head. "It's okay... we all win some, and lose some..." Black Widow says the last part under her breath to herself.

Storm still hears Nat and nods slightly, comforting her friend. Knowing why Natasha told Ororo the story. Lose is a part of life, and one that can teach you a valuable lesson. And lose doesn't define you, it's what you do with what you've learned. Ororo runs her hands through Natasha's ginger red hair slowly.

In the woods outside the cave Black Cat, Mystique, and Polaris search the forest for the hero's but to no avail. Felicia's snow white hair dances in the cold winter wind as it blows pass them. Lorna shivers, her emerald painted lips quivering because of the brisk breeze. Raven growls, "This is useless, we'll never find them out here in the darkness. If they're smart they'll leave and never return." Mystique says angrily.

The villains return to the Massachusetts Academy. They find Emma getting five students ready for battle. Confused Black Cat steps up asking, "What is this?" Says Felicia.

"My Hellions." Emma states simply and sternly.
