The two people in question were two men roughly of their age group. One of them was currently bending over, puking his guts out, but somehow, the two still managed to have an argument despite that. Or rather, the person currently in this predicament was the one arguing while the other was just agreeing with whatever he said.

"You should've warned me!"

The other man gently rubbed his back, looking put on the spot. "I know, I know, darling. I will definitely do better next time."

"What do you mean, 'next time'?! There shouldn't be a next time!"

His boyfriend gave a wry smile in return while his eyes showed indulgence. "Right, there shouldn't be next time. So I will tell you if we are ever about to risk a next time and keep you from getting onto the roller coaster despite my insistence not to do so. You just have to make sure you listen to me."

Needless to say, his boyfriend wasn't happy to hear that, clearly feeling attacked.

Yao Ai glanced over when she realized that Li Ming had stopped and then covered her mouth with her hands, hurriedly turning away. "I'm going to puke myself if I see that. Let's go immediately!" With that, she already ran off.

Duan Zhi Hao also didn't feel that he should watch this, considering that he had only barely gotten himself around precisely this kind of situation. If he got too close, he was afraid that his stomach might have a belated revelation that this would've been an option as well.

When he wanted to turn around, he couldn't help but notice that Li Ming was staring at the two of them though. He looked at him and then glanced at the two guys over there again, and couldn't help but become afraid. "That ... wouldn't be your ex, right?"

Actually, there was a chance that this was true, right? Li Ming's ex had sounded like the type of guy that would move pretty fast with men. So breaking up with him and then going on a romantic outing in a theme park with another guy a few weeks after definitely sounded like the type of thing he might do.

Li Ming slightly furrowed his brows. "Mn? No, that's just someone I was ..." He trailed off and then turned to look at Duan Zhi Hao with an incredulous expression. "I'm sorry, what did you just ask?"

Duan Zhi Hao motioned toward the two standing over there that were still arguing, wondering if maybe he hadn't hit the nail on the head but still gotten uncomfortably close for Li Ming to react like this. "Your ex? I thought he might have been one of the two because you were staring at them as if it hit you right in the gut. No?" He scratched his head and then shrugged his shoulders. "Well, I guess it's better. Running into him really would've been too awkward."

Li Ming continued to stare at him, even forgetting about who he had just seen. No, there was something that was occupying his mind even more. "You ... you knew." He faintly furrowed his brows, not quite sure what to make of this.

Unfortunately, Duan Zhi Hao didn't immediately get his drift. "About your ex? But you told us."

Li Ming glanced over to the two of them who were clearly both men, and then grabbed Duan Zhi Hao by the arm and pulled him away. He definitely didn't need to add to the troubles he already had right now. "That's not quite what I meant. I mean, I never told you my ex was a man."

He felt strange saying it like this and couldn't help but look around, wondering if he had just invited trouble for himself. But no, nobody seemed to have heard. Heaving a sigh of relief, he couldn't help but give Duan Zhi Hao a thoughtful look. "You ... you don't mind?"

Duan Zhi Hao looked as if he had been caught red-handed. "Oh. That. Ah, well ..." He wasn't sure where to begin and almost started to stutter. Taking a deep breath, he finally shook his head. "I don't mind. I ... I wasn't really sure what to do with it at first.

"I only figured it out last night. You know, that lesbian woman ... and then I had a look around and I figured that you never really told us it was a woman and I probably shouldn't have assumed. And, well, seems like I was right."

Li Ming raised his brows and then faintly tilted his head. "Well, since you know, I guess there's no reason to lie about it."

Duan Zhi Hao nodded and rubbed his forehead, not quite sure what else to say. "You don't mind, do you? I mean, that I know. You didn't tell us so I wasn't sure if I should bring up that I figured it out on my own."

Li Ming glanced at him and couldn't help but smile. "You know, if people not knowing whether they should bring it up was what I needed to worry about the most once somebody figures out I'm gay, then life would really be a bit easier.

"No, really, I don't mind. Actually, I don't like keeping it a secret. I ... I'm somebody who likes to be honest. Keeping it to myself ... I just feel like I'm lying by omission and that's something I'm grappling with. But I also realize that this is something I can't just tell anybody.

"The three of us didn't really know each other that well so figured I'd rather wait for a while and see how things go first. You never know how it turns out otherwise. It's ... it's nothing against you or sister Ai, just ... me being careful, I guess."

Duan Zhi Hao nodded. "I can imagine."

Actually, he didn't know if he had ever met anybody else that wasn't straight. Anyway, it wasn't like you could figure it out at a glance. Even with Li Ming, the thought hadn't even crossed his mind until he basically walked into a flashing neon sign that there might be an issue there.

So, yes, it wasn't wrong to say that he hadn't thought much about how it had to be gay in their country. But he knew very well that it couldn't be easy even if he only thought about it for a moment. So, he did believe Li Ming immediately when he said that it was difficult. After all, people could be narrow-minded about pretty much anything, not to mention something that was this big a part of a person's life.
