We walked past the odd falcon statues and started our walk down the great path. I was sure it would be quicker just to fly into the city, but since Blue didn't mention it, I didn't say anything either. I'm sure he wanted me to see everything anyway.

The path itself was pretty earthy. Like I said - it was a pretty marvelous gray-stoned path, but the edges are what interested me the most. I saw it from the sky earlier, but now that I was here close to it, I saw how the vegetation was on the pathway. It appeared as though the little shrubs here and there were actually growing out of the stone itself? I saw some vines on the side of the path from the sky which led to the assumption that the vegetation was just sprouting upward from somewhere, but that just wasn't the case.

The shrubs were actually growing out of the stone. On some places where the shrubs were, I could see cracks around the stone. Pretty powerful plants.

The path swerved around here and there throughout the city and was pretty lengthy. For the most part, the ocean stayed visible on my right whereas the city was mainly to my left. The buildings were interesting because they were vastly different in size: some were at least 15 stories tall and some seemed to be no more than 2 stories.

From the outside, it was hard to distinguish what was residential and what was commercial. Though the buildings varied in size, they all relatively looked the same: prism shaped buildings with large windows. One of the things I spotted is that usually what I assumed were "residential" buildings had umbrellas and other things on the roofs. I suppose the people here value spending time outside?

And speaking of spending time outside, there weren't any signs of vehicles here. Or garages for that matter. All of the buildings were tightly compact with trees and whatnot in between them or branching up the sides. Not seeing vehicles still culture shocked me though. I guess its because I've been used to them and therefore expected them? But realistically, why would you need them if you could just fly/teleport wherever here? The real world's environment protection agencies would love it here.

And yet, as we were walking down the path, I must say that I am grateful for it. For the path that is. Because I still don't know how to fly yet. Conceptually it doesn't seem challenging, especially with my talent being wind and all, but still. It would be pretty embarrassing to arrive here and have to climb down buildings because I don't know how to fly here.

But to that point, I'm sure there are citizens here that don't know how to fly / or can't. Which leads me to wonder if this path was already here or if it was man-made? Or. Aveila-made or whatever.

As Blue and I continued to walk down the path, fireworks started to shoot into the sky. Large, bright, explosive fireworks. Showers of blues and pinks and greens. Applause was erupting from all across the city. Above us, where the buildings that we had already past were, people were coming outside and shouting. Kids were waving crazily at me, and I waved back.

Below us, the people on the roofs were turning their attention to Blue and I and started applauding. There were big displays of elemental prowess. People were throwing flaming hearts my way, some were mini water showers that produced rainbows, others zipped to and fro across the sky above us in dazzling light.

"Wow Blue. This is getting pretty exciting." I said to him with a smile why waving at everybody.

"As it should. You're finally home. The whole city has been waiting on you!"

"How long though? How long have you guys been waiting on me?"

"At least 2 years. Her Majesty's Xeno was revealed two years ago, and of course that left everyone wondering when you would show up. Some waiting eagerly simply out of adoration to His Majesty, but there are some that waited because they hoped you would be different."
