With the new found ability on my mind, I went ahead and slept. I didn't set an alarm or anything, but I remember waking up to a slight knock on the door. When my eyelids started to open and my vision focused, I saw the beautiful white curtains flapping slightly as wind filled my room. Soft rays of sunlight were pouring in the room, illuminating everything, and I promise it seemed like a scene from a movie.

I sat up, looking at myself in the mirror, and boy was I a mess. A dry slob line trailed down my face on the right side, and my hair looked like I had touched one too many sockets. At this rate, I'll need a bonnet.

"Sir? I'm assuming you are awake." I heard Blue's voice from behind the door. "Morning Blue. Yes, that is correct. I am awake. What is on the agenda today?"

"It is currently 8:04am. Your friends Ace and Ven want to have breakfast with you at the Colony Cafe at 9am, less than an hour from now. The tournament starts promptly at 11am, at which you will have to be present. That is all that is on the list for now. Any extra curriculars can be added."

The tournament was less than 3 hours away. Was I ready for it? I didn't know what to think about it. What would it be like? I guess I could ask Ace & Ven more about it when we had breakfast. Speaking of - I was super excited about getting to see them this morning. I hope they know that they're paying for my food.

"Thanks Blue. I'm going to go ahead and shower and get dressed. I'll meet you downstairs at the door."

"Roger."

I walked into the bathroom and freshened up. As it was yesterday, the showers here were supreme. I brushed and flossed my teeth and got my undergarments on. When I went into my closet, I had to think about what to wear. Surely something sweat wicking since there would be a ton of activity later on today. Fancy clothes wouldn't do. Shorts and jeans wouldn't do either. But then I saw it. A white v-neck tee and some solid black joggers. I wasn't going for a run or exercising, but technically the tournament was exercise so I thought this would be best.

After I got those on, I laced up my red chucks, fixed my bed, and headed downstairs.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes. Lead the way."

On the way there, there were a few people walking or on their balconies that waved at me and said good morning. I returned the gesture to each of them. I felt bad that they all knew my name but I didn't know any of theirs, so I made a mental note that I'd have to start collecting (and remembering) names at the tournament today.

We walked through the city until I saw a bright pale banana yellow building with a large coffee cup sign on the up the building with the words "Colony cafe" outlining the bottom of the cup. At the front door were Ace and Ven facing us with Ace waving at me. "GOOODDDD MORNINGGGGG!" He excited exclaimed as Blue and I approached. I smiled. "Good morning guys!" "How'd you sleep?" "I slept well and I had this weird dream wher-" "Not you. Blade!" Ven said to Ace. The pep in Ace's step didn't damper at all. "I slept well. I actually met my Limitor!" Ven & Ace's eyes widened. "You did?" They said in unison. I let out a big smile. "I sure did! I'll have to tell you about it after we get booth!" They both smiled and opened the door for me. "I will be around. I'm going to complete a few other tasks while you have breakfast with them." Blue said to me. I nodded and walked inside.

The interior was bubbly. The floors were made from a pink tile; not annoyingly hot pink but not soft pale pink. It was a pink that I didn't really mind. The walls were pale yellow like the exterior. The booths were a nice marbled wood color. Shiny and old fashioned. The tables and the booths themselves were made out of wood. In the middle was the server pick-up station and the kitchen in a nice square island with perfect 90 degree corners. The counter was a pure white color. The kitchen walls were blue and the light that shone over the island was a bright LED white. A little farther up and to our right was the hostess station. There was a rounder woman there that had large pink curls that I could tell had been a roller set recently. She smiled and I noticed she had a white apron that covered most of her outfit, and when I turned to look at the kitchen I noticed they all had white aprons too. I didn't pick that up the first time.
