When I woke up, the sun was gone. The sky was a mystic mix of sangria and Egyptian blue. The moon above was "full" and illuminating everything in a white blue haze. The former deep green plain grass was now a much cooler blue green and shifted ever so slightly in the breeze flowing through the land. I observed my surroundings and noticed I was laying near the waterfall. I was trying to get my thoughts together and then everything hit me at once.
I was attacked.
I'm in this strange land.
I have magical powers apparently.
A sword randomly appeared.
Ven was training me.Ven
That's where I left off. I used that intense blast against him and was utterly drained. I lost consciousness, and that was the last thing I remembered. And speaking of....he was nowhere to be found. I looked around but he was gone. Just how much time had passed? And who just leaves an unconscious person alone in the wild? Jeez.
I felt a gentle rumble in my belly. I was hungry but had nowhere to get food. And now that I was thinking about it, if it was night time, that means a full day has gone by in the "real world" which also means my mom has probably gotten off work and noticed i wasn't home. I pulled out my phone but I had no service here, meaning I had no way of contacting her. I'm 125% sure she's probably freaking out right now, especially if the school reported me missing. I had bigger things to worry about (according to Ven), like more assassination attempts, but that didn't eliminate my "real world" problems you know?
I sighed and walked over to the waterfall. I cupped my hands and took a few handfuls of water. I'm not sure if this water was "clean" but it was better than nothing. And even though I was hungry, this water helped to lessen my appetite slightly.
But once again, I was stuck with the question: What now? With Ven missing, it seemed like I only had 2 options: either walk out on my own and get food or wait, God knows how long, for him to make an appearance again. But how likely was that scenario? Would he come again?
I started to run a simulation in my mind and consider the possibilities. When I started to think about the likely-hood of Ven showing up, I remembered a few things. First, I'm a Xeno for one of the Gigas at his kingdom (Aveila if I'm remembering correctly). With that being said, my safety had to be of the upmost importance. It'd be foolish on his part if he just left me here and returned home. And that was the other point- he couldn't have gone far. If he had went back to the Kingdom, why not just bring me with him? I was supposed to go there anyway. So he couldn't have just abandoned me. That wouldn't be logical. Assuming all of these factors are correct, my best bet would be to sit here and wait for him to make his return...hopefully with food.
After a few minutes of sitting, my mind started to drift and that's when I realized my sword wasn't with me. It was gone. Did Ven take it? Could other people's weapon actually be taken? But then I remembered Ven's spear. It had appeared out of thin air, well thin electricity I should say, and mine had appeared randomly as well. If it could appear randomly, I'm sure it would disappear randomly as well. But, if that was the case, could I summon it again?
And another thing...this talent of mine. Right before I did that massive attack, I remember seeing wind swirling around my sword. I know it doesn't make sense because the human eye shouldn't be able to physically see wind. But there it was. And when I slammed my sword down, a twister appeared. And when Ven and I were sparring earlier, I kept noticing a breeze appear before something crazy happened. Could my talent have something to do with air or wind? I don't mean to sound like an addict, but I want to see more of it in action. I need confirmation. But some things still didn't make sense.
