CHAPTER TEN: the ending
[☾★ ]Y⃟O⃟U⃟ B⃟E⃟L⃟O⃟N⃟G⃟ W⃟I⃟T⃟H⃟ U⃟S⃟[☾★ ]
NICKLAUS SWAN NERVOUSLY TAPPED HIS LEG AGAINST THE CAR FLOOR. They were following Edward until Jasper pulled up to Klaus's house.
"Pack a bag, quickly," Alice says.
Klaus nods, hopping out of the car and plastering a smile on his face as he walks up the steps. "Hey, dad, guess what-"
Klaus looked up to see his father, holding back more tears as he turned around to face-wiping his face before he did-his son. "Klaus, uh, w-what are you doing here?"
"Jasper and Alice invited me to go on a trip," Klaus answered. "Dad, is something wrong?"
"No," Charlie forced a smile. "Uh, how long is the trip?"
Klaus started to walk up the stairs, quickly grabbing random shirts and pulling them off the hangers. Alice was there already, having half the bag full of clothes. Klaus threw more in the bag, swinging it over his shoulder. Klaus put on his fake smile again, opening his door; Charlie stood outside it.
