The Batalla Family

(These are my OCs)

Abuela Lavanda Batalla

Abuela is more on the traditional side but is open to change. She has one child, Rosa. Abuela is a little more laid back than Abuela Alma, meaning that she is more aware of everyone's feelings and lets them take breaks so they can heal emotionally, mentally, and/or physically. She wears the same dress as Alma but it's a lavender color instead of magenta.

Rosa Batalla

The only child of Lavanda, Rosa, has a power similar to Isabela except she can grow all kinds of plants (crops, cactus, etc.), not just flowers. (I am aware that Isabela at the end of the movie can now grow different plants). Rosa is the mother of Catalina, Valentina and Mateo and the wife of Santiago. Rosa generally wears a white dress with red stripes on the sleeves, neckline, and skirt. The skirt has red roses on it as well. (picture of her outfit below)

Santiago Batalla

He is the husband of Rosa and the father of Catalina, Valentina, and Mateo. Because he married into the family he does not have a gift and is completely okay with it. He's low-key a himbo and always has the heart eyes for his wife. He is very helpful around the house and tries to help went he can around the village.

He has brown curly hair and hazel eyes. He has tan skin and wears glasses. He's on the shorter side but is strong and muscular.

Catalina Batalla

She is the eldest daughter of Rosa and Santiago and the older sister of Valentina and Mateo. Her gift is strength like Luisa, this is part of the reason why they get along so well. Catalina loves to help others but sometimes it gets to be too much. She'll end up in her room throwing weights and/or furniture, and Luisa is the only one to get her out of those moods (mainly because she can't get hurt if she gets hit by 100 lb weight). As the oldest, she is the "tester" child and she has a lot of pressure on her to be as flawless as possible. She is the only woman in Encanto to wear pants, but it is practical because, whenever she wears a skirt, it gets caught on something and rips. It causes extra work for her dad to repair them so she just started wearing pants to stop the hassle (also pants are comfier in my opinion). The only times she wears a skirt are for special occasions.

She is twenty years old and has long, wavy, brown hair, which is normally in a ponytail, and brown eyes. Catalina is tall and muscular, her build suits her personality because she is often intimidating but sometimes just needs hugs and cuddles. She is also very gay lol

Valentina Batalla

She is the oldest of the Batalla twins. Her gift is to control water (think Katara from ATLA). Valentina is a hardcore Luisa x Catalina shipper. This little mooch uses her gift to make one of you slip and have the other catch them. She is seven years old and has light brown curly hair and hazel eyes. She is short and only comes up to Catalina's chest, she often enjoys being lifted onto Catalina's shoulders with Antonio. (Outfit below! Pretend that the blue is black.)

Mateo Batalla

Mateo is the youngest of the Batalla twins. His gift is the ability to control fire (think Zuko without daddy issues).  The only thing he and his twin, Valentina, agree on is that Luisa and Catalina need to get together mainly because they're tired of seeing them pine over each other while the other's not looking. He is taller than Valentina but still shorter than Catalina (he only comes up to her shoulders). He has curly dark brown hair and brown eyes. (Outfits below! Pretend it's red)
