"Uh hey kenny?" I asked pulling his parka sleeve to get his attention "oh hey y/n what's up" he said words muffled by his parka "I was gonna ask if u wanted to hang out after school? At Starks pond?" I said "oh yea sure" he said "ok see you then!" I said smiling walling away

(Time skip)

Oh my gosh I'm gonna be late! Poor kenny he might think I ditched him I just had to run to my house to get my hair accessory bag I have an idea "Sorry kenny I was late I needed to run to my house to get something " I said out of breath "kenny..?" I walked around the bench and saw kenny wiping his eyes "oh my! I'm so sorry for being late!"  I said dropping my little bag with my hair accessories "do you forgive me..?" I said a little "mhm" is all I heard "well.." I started picking up my bag "I brought something for us" I said smiling. As I sat down kenny looked over my bag trying to see what was in it "hair clips!" I said holding up a bright yellow one that looked like I had got it at some cheap store "you put it like this" I said putting it in my hair "uhh I only have pink or orange.." I said

Kenny's POV

"I want pink" I said trying to be as clear as possible with my parka on. They put it on a small strand of hair that was barley sticking out "it dosnt really work.." they said frowning. I sighed and pulled down the hood as they smiled and replaced it moving some hair move from my face as they giggled "so I have some other things I wanna try" they said smiling looking down at her small bag "what's that?" I asked my voice very clear from the hood of my parka down. Their eyes shot straight up at me as I said "what?" And I realized.. first. that's the first time they've heard me talk... and second I just talked! I mean I don't like the way I look or my voice much but their different I feel happy around them happy enough to talk to her or show how I look

Y/n POV

He just talked!! I've never heard him talk "y-you just.." I was cut off by him in my face almost as if he was gonna kiss me I was still looking down when I looked up he very close to my face ".. so I have ribbons.. and I wanna braid them into your hair" I said hold a red ribbon in my hand. He nodded so I was very close to him braiding a red ribbon into his hair. When he suddenly looked up at me and smiled and I felt.. warm on my cheeks? (A/n not those cheeks u pervs 🙄🙄) "i-im almost done.." I said focused on his hair when i was done I sat normally on the bench again still facing him when Suddenly I felt something on my cheek and I turned around and saw kenny running away with his parka in his hand as he yelled "SEE YOU AT SCHOOL TOMORROW!" I chuckled and packed everything up then went home

OH MY GOSH THIS WAS SO CUTE IN THE END HE KISSED THEIR CHEEK SO IF THAT WAS CONFUSING- ALSO I GOT MOTIVATION CAN U BELIEVE IT WOO!
