STEP ONE; use a solid color as your background. For this cover I normally use white, but you can use any color you want.

STEP TWO; Add your faceclaim. You'll want to duplicate that layer 4 times. You'll have on total 5 layers that have the same image.

STEP THREE; Take one of those layers and move the png over to the left.

STEP FOUR; choose the filter button, choose adjust color, minor color. Choose any color you want. Then press blur, moving blur (can be also called motion blur). Adjust the opacity of the layer between 25%-50%. I picked 41% in this cover, but it depends on how much you want the ends to be seen. So it's up to you.
