CHAPTER 28: SCOUTING

Time skip: The couple of days later

3rd person POV

After all members of peaky p-key reconcile with their one and only, Kazuya had a mission on his own and for days he was unseen by both peakys and hapiara. This grew concern from both sides because kazuya came to school early and left before both side could say a word.

At lunch, all members of peakys are enjoying their meals until they received a notification about hapiara's recent ranking.

"Eh...hapiara-chan is on rank eight" esora said

"Hapiara that perform at kuripa?" Yuka ask

"Yes, rinku-chan's unit!" Esora said

"Eh....they used to be kind of lower" yuka said as she look at esora's phone.

"Looks like rinku-chan's performance at the event and their hardwork finally pays off. I heard that ao trained them personally" kyoko said

As soon as shinobu hears that kazuya trained them, she was unamused by it and kyoko realizes it.

"What, you're jealous that he's with hapiara?" Kyoko tease shinobu

"Not really!" Shinobu denied as she eat the onigiri with frustration.

"Has anyone reached ao-chan lately?" Esora ask

"No i haven't. He never picks up my call since we last meet him at the park" kyoko said

"I'm getting worried....did we do something bad?" Yuka ask

"No. If we did, ao will confront it. This is something else..." Shinobu said

This grew concern on the peakys as kazuya never done this kind of thing without telling anyone. He mysteriously disappear and nowhere to be seen.

Fast forward: After school

A final ring bells and kazuya left the class early before rinku could say anyword. Rinku grew concern on him as he was acting strange for the past couple days and he didn't even return her calls or anything.

As soon as kazuya step out from the campus, all members of peaky saw him at the gate and esora greet him

"Baby boo! Let's go home together!" Esora said

"Not now!" Kazuya said without looking at the peakys

All of kazuya's harem are surprised with his actions and kazuya keep in jog away from the school all of them are worried if they did something wrong.

Kazuya's POV

I haven't talked to rinku or my girls for days as i was busy scouting hapirara's next opponent, Photon Maiden. Their recent popularity concerns me even though hapiara reach rank eight. The tables might turn if i didn't do something about it.

I heard from nee-san that one of my favorite Synthwave artist release his new book and right now i'm at the bookstore to find a new book about Synthwave music and after a few search, i finally found it. As i'm about to pick it up, suddenly a hand appears and it's reaching for the same book.

"Ah my apologies!" I said

"Me too...please take the book" he said

"Nah it's okay....judging by your looks, you're learning synthwave" i said

"Yeah...i know a bit or two and i intended to learn more about it. How about you?" He ask

"I'm the master of synthwave. That's my forte" i said

"So you excels in synthwave, are you a musician?" He ask as he gain interest.

"Pretty much. I used to be a DJ" i said

"Really, what is your stage name?" He ask

"DJ Neon....if you ever heard of me" i said

"So you're the young DJ that retired! You're still young and yet you retired!" He's surprised.

"Let's just say that i've done enough and i want to put all that behind me" i said

"It seems you've got a soul in music. I've listen to your music and i can tell you devoted yourself more than i imagine" he said

"Thanks...that means a lot. By the way, the name's Ao" i introduce myself

"Mine's..." As he was about to introduce himself, a girl appears behind his back.

"Are you done? I need to go back to the agency" a blond girl said.

"Really, so we need to hurry!" He said

"Your girlfriend?" I ask

"Yes she is" he said with a smile

"Here, take this book. You'll need it more than me" i give him a book about synthwave

"Thanks man....i'm yukio. Nice to meet you" he introduce himself

"Nice to meet you yukio. Maybe we can meet up sometime and discuss about this genre of music" i said

"Yeah...that'll be great. I need to go now, here's my number if you ever need to contact me" he give me his card

"And here's mine" i give my card to him

"See you around Ao" he wave

"See you" i wave back and they walk away from me

"Who's that, yukio-kun?" A blond ask

"Acquaintance of mine, chisato-senpai" yukio said

As soon as he and his girlfriend left the scene, i try to figure where i need to find the synthwave book as it was the last one. But i've already ask the clerk and she said another stock will arrive tomorrow. As i left the store, i received a school notification saying that Photon Maiden are having their performance at the school.

Much to my surprise that ibuki-senpai and noa senpai are a part of photon maiden. Looks like the world is indeed small, shano's unit are consist of my senpai. To ensure that i didn't get caught by noa-senpai again, i disguise myself with a black hoodie that nagisa gave me and a tricolour beanie.

I enter one of the concert hall and i watch shano's unit perform and i must say that they kinda impressed me, but not as impressed as it should be. But now i'm in dilemma as i'm helping both of photon maiden and hapiara at the same time. But as i recall, i only help photon maiden in music but i help hapiara in almost everything.

To make my words solid, i will help hapiara and show to shano that photon maiden has it's flaws. After photon maiden done with their performance, suddenly i saw ibuki-senpai try to get a clear vision of someone.

3rd person POV

After their performance, ibuki saw someone at the back near the entrance door and she take a good look of it. As she get a clear view, she realizes that kazuya was watching her perform and her face starts to blush.

"Ao..." She take a couple steps back and turns her face away in embarassment

Suddenly noa realizes something as she was sensing something that is cute to her.

"I sense kawaii-chan is nearby!" Noa said

Noa was about to jump from the stage and ibuki caught her. All of photon maiden wave their goodbyes to the audience and ibuki pull noa to the backstage as she was struggle with noa's strength

"Noa let's go!" Ibuki said

"Nooooo let go of me, kawaii-chan is here!!!!" Noa screame

"Ya be!" Kazuya realizes his prey is onto him

He left the hall quickly before noa could ever found him. He ran through the hallway and take a detour to escape from yoba. As soon as he take his final turn, suddenly noa is right infront of him.

"Found ya kawaii-chan!"
