FAST FORWARD: LATE NIGHT
it's late night and the whole unit are still sleeping in kazuya's room hoping that he will recover from his fever and also his broken ankle. Kazuya suddenly woke up in the middle of s night and he realizes that his head is on shinobu's lap, yuka on his left, kyoko beside his legs and esora on his right with her head still on his chest.
Kazuya sigh and he slowly lift esora up and place her beside him. He try to stand up with the help of the crutches and kazuya feels his forehead and the fever has already worn off. He walk slowly to the balcony as he want to have some fresh air in the night. He grab the cigarette on the shelf and walk outside to the balcony to enjoy the comd breeze.
Not long after, a person walk up behind him and he realizes who is it as she was the person who being overprotective towards him beside shinobu.
Ao: sorry if i woke you up
Esora: no...it's okay. I couldn't sleep anyway
There's a silence between the two and esora saw the gloomy expression on kazuya's face. She approach her slowly and she hug him from behind.
Ao: esoran?
Esora: ao-chan...is there something that bugging you off?
Ao: what do you mean?
Esora: ao-chan...i'm not born yesterday. I see that facade on your face...you can tell me if you want.
Kazuya lower his head a bit and he take one stick if cigarette and light it up. Esora was unplease with it and she pout her cheeks at him. But seeing his face full of facade, and his eyes looks he's in deep stress, she keep her mouth sealed and let him speak. Kazuya take a deep drag of his cigarette and he exhale the smoke in stress.
Ao: esoran...can you trust me?
Esora: what are you talking about, of course i trust you.
Ao: even if it cause your life?
Esora: what's that supposed to mean! Are you....dying?
Kazuya take another drag and he sigh heavily. Esora's hands are trembling and that cause her grip from his waist to break.
Ao: you can say that....
Esora: ao-chan...let's get you to hospital!
Ao: what for!?
Esora: you said you were dying!
Ao: i meant mentally....not physically
Esora heave a sight of relief
Esora: what do you mean you're dying mentally?
Ao: first of all...can i trust you to keep it a secret? From everyone and i mean EVERYONE. Especially shinobu
Esora: yes..yes i promise
Kazuya nods and he took another drag of his cigarette. He exhale the smoke and he begin to speak.
Ao: i received a letter weeks ago...
Esora: a letter...what is it?
Ao: the letter came from the principal of yoba...the principal said that after the football tournament and our upcoming test in just a couple of days...my contract with yoba will be terminated effective immediately....
Esora was shock to the ground as kazuya received a termination letter from yoba principal. She was so shock that she can feel her legs are wobbly..
Esora: What! Why the school wanted to expelled you, did the principal caught you smoking?
