Kazuya's POV
I was nervous to meet someone that i have lost contact probably months after my last performance at D4FES last year. I enter the building and head straight to shano's office and i knock on her door.
"Come in!" Shano said from the inside
I enter the office and she's tending her paperwork. I guess being a manager is hard enough and yet she still keep her job....after we broke up of course.
"She's here?" I ask
"She'll be here in any minute. But first, i want to discuss about Akatsuki" shano said
"There's nothing left to discuss, all our conversation in the past is the key to their success" i said
"But ao...your idea will break the image of the maiden" shano disagree
"Listen here mommy Ex-girlfriend! That was the whole point of the idea. Breaking the image isn't gonna break any rules of performance!" I said
"But to follow your radical way of DJ, it doesn't suit photon maiden! And it's not even a remix" Shano disagree
"That's what it means to be a DJ, shano. And remix IS a radical way of DJ. It's a part of freedom to express your real way in music" i reply
"Ao, if they got a freedom in DJ, it will change everything in a way of their DJ and it will create a controversy" shano raise her voice.
"Listen here shano, you've been in this business since i've been sucking my thumbs in diapers, and i know better that this will make photon maiden's success. Talk about controversy? You created a more controversy when your unit split up couple years ago and your decision to fired me!"
Shano keep her mouth shut and she's unable to say anything. She bite her lips in frustration and she turn her face away in defeat. Suddenly a door was open and it reveal somebody i knew in the past.
"Lovers quarrel?" She ask
"No....just a differences between us" i reply
"Long time no see ao. It's good that you look well" she said as she approach me.
"You too toka. I see that you still looking vogue" i said with a chuckle
Toka approach me with a smile and she give me a hug. I return the hug and i can see shano let our differences slide for this time and she greet her with a smile. After the greeting, toka look at me with a smile and she pinch my cheeks and petted my head.
"You haven't change one bit. You still look cute" toka said
"Look toka.... Save your words, all of that alongside shano, that was all in the past. And quite frankly, you were the one who supported shano's decision by letting me go" i said
"You don't want to patch up our relationship, together?" Toka ask
"Is this the reason why you dragged my ass to this office?" I ask with my eyebrow raised
"Well....not all....just asking. I called you here to hangout just like old times" toka said
"Yeah...and you two old hags should get a husband already. Because i'm not gonna reconcile with both of you. I'm still wounded by both of you" i said
"Ao...even though it's our fault for letting you go, but our relationship for you are nothing but the truth" shano said
"Both of you did this to yourselves...beside, I don't care if you wanna let me go because that i was hoping for. But you downgraded me and my way in DJ. That is way out of line" i said
The scene turns silent as both of this old hags realizes their mistake. Shano walk to the mini bar and she begin to prepare a beverage
"Who want some coffee?" Shano ask
"I take it black....no sugar please" i said
"Mine too" toka said
We take a sit at the sofa and shano serve us a coffee and some sweets she that toka bought. Toka and shano onew that i like tiramisu and she always brings me this cake whenever we met in the past. We share the same plate and the same fork like we used to back in the days when i was under their wings....and back when i cheated on shinobu for the first time.
"How's school ao?" Shano ask
"Same as always....and i finally met two members of photon maiden" i said
"Really, who is it?" Shano ask
"Ibuki-senpai and noa-senpai" i said while sipping my coffee
"Well....how did you two met?" Toka ask
"Basically noa-senpai kidnapped me when i first met her. We bumped to each other and she suddenly kidnapped me because ibuki-senpai told me that she collected cute things" i said
"Well....you are cute ao....i have to agree with noa there" shano said with a chuckle.
"Then ibuki-senpai is somewhat my guardian to prevent noa-senpai to abduct me again....." I said with a sigh.
Our conversation continues on until the clock hits midnight. It does feel like old times especially back when i did my unofficial last performance during last year's D4FES. I need to return home and be prepare for tomorrow's school.
"I need to get going..." I said
"Eh...already? But we're having a good part of the story here" toka said
"Listen here woman. I'm a high schooler and i need to wake up early for tomorrow!" I scold toka
"Okay okay....but before you go, can you me one small favor?" Toka ask
"What is it?" I ask
Toka stand up from her seat and she approach me slowly with a smile. She take a seat beside me and she lean closer to me.
"Kiss me ao.....kiss me....one..last..time" toka request.
"Okay....one last time" i said
Me and toka slowly lean our head forward and we're having a slow kiss and we savor it for one last time....i can see her face is full of sadness as we used to be together alongside shano, but we split up because my incident that caused me to being fired..
We break the kiss and toka smiling at me as she finally get what she wanted for one last time. Toka turns her face to shano and she just stare at both of us with s slight jealousy look.
"Care to join us?" Toka ask shano
"Why should i...?" Shano ask
"We used to be ao's girlfriends...and if we agree the terms of our break up, shouldn't we get our last kiss?" Toka said
Shano think for about a minute and finally she agree to it. Shano takes a seat beside me and we begin to kiss the same way toka and i did. Then both of them proceed to kiss my cheek simultaneously to officially end our relationship.
I walk home alone so i can stargaze without any interruption. Shano told me that she will proceed with Akatsuki but it will not be any remixes or radicals. I just gonna let shano do what she think right to do, and i'm gonna use the result of the performance to silence her up.
