Short Summary:
Hollypaw, daughter of Lionblaze and Cinderheart, is unlike other cats in her clan. She has wings. One of her littermates has cast her out and multiple cats hate her because of her difference. But when she starts receiving weird prophecies, and visions, she leaves the clans to find this place that her visions are showing her. Here, she meets a large group of owls with organized jobs and duties they must play to keep one another safe. When troubles starts to come, they might find an unlikely alliance in the Clans.
Like/Dislike: Wow. I loved this. I've never read the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series but this story has made me quite interested! I personally like how you described things with not only present events but with flashbacks, heart warming moments, it all just fit together so perfectly to make a good first book! No matter how much I loved it, I wish you could have built the suspense a bit more. You had many opportunities to do so and it would have made it a better story then it already is. But overall, I really enjoyed this book and plan on reading the whole series.
Final Report: This story was nicely detailed and has a very interesting plot line. Could have built up the suspense more but it was well written without many grammar or spelling mistakes.
