Critic: WynterFrost
Quick Summary: SkyClan has been living in peace for many seasons after being rebuilt by Firestar. But all that is about to change when an old enemy of the Clans find SkyClan and the delivery of a prophecy: The sun will disappear and the moon will turn red with blood. During this time enemies will stir and prey will hide in fear. To save the Clan, the falcon must travel further than where the origin began into the land of beyond.
Liked/Disliked: I was interested when I saw this would be about SkyClan, it's not a Clan that is usually chosen in fan fics. I also really like the inclusion of BloodClan. Again, another Clan you don't read much of so I was eager to see where the story would go. The pacing of the story line for me was a bit fast at the beginning, we just find out that BloodClan is back and the next minute they're attacking. A dramatic build up to the attack would have been really exciting. Apart from all that though after Falconpaw leaves SkyClan it's just another fan fic about a prophecy and going on a great journey to find help. Hopefully when Falconpaw gets to the Clans the story will pick up and get more exciting.
Author Improvement: I would have liked to see a more detailed chapter about the BloodClan cats, like where they were hiding and how they interact with each other since the way they operate in their camp would be very different to the other Clans.
Final Thoughts: I guess this book around halfway done and I'm interested in seeing how SkyClan will be saved by the other Clans.
