jaeyun brushed his girlfriend's hair from her eyes, revealing her smile. she laughed as they played with the sand. they locked eye contact for a split second, causing jaeyun to look down and smile.
nara fiddled with the sand castle they made.
'how are you so perfect, my love?'
"I'll be back, love," jaeyun smiled. nara nodded as she watched her boyfriend walk away.
the vibration from nara's phone, shook her from her thoughts. "an unknown number?"
she hesitantly picked up the call, "hello?"
"nara? are you okay?" "I'm sorry, who is this?" "jay." "do I know you?"
jay felt his heart drop at her question.
'sim jaeyun, what did you do to my nara?'
"nothing, it's alright. I was just wondering when you were coming back to korea." "korea? I'm not coming back, I've moved to australia. is there a reason you're asking?" nara questioned. jay sighed, "no, I'm sorry, I must have gotten the wrong nara. sorry to bother, goodbye."
before nara could bid the male farewell, he ended the call. nara frowned at the mysterious male, but shrugged it off as jaeyun walked back.
"here my love," he smiled, handing her a glass of juice. "mango, one of your favourites," he grinned, playing with his straw. nara bit her bottom lip, trying to stop herself from smiling, "thank you, love."
'I love you, kim nara. I hope you know that. I'm doing all of this for your happiness. we'll be happy here.'
flashback.
"heeseung," the younger grinned. the male gulped and avoided his gaze. "are you ignoring me?" jaeyun whined. heeseung kept his head low, unable to look at the shorter male directly.
jaeyun gripped the male's face tightly, forcing him to look him in the eyes. "lee heeseung."
"y-yes," heeseung stuttered. "darling, I'm taking nara with me to australia. we aren't returning." heeseung's eyes widened, "w-what?"
'he's... taking nara? he's... moving there with her? she let him? I thought it was just a few days... will I ever see her again?'
"she's quitting, she told me to tell you that," he smirked.
"b-but... nara would... she would n-never," heeseung whispered, choking on his words. jaeyun felt his blood boil, he increased the strength of his grip and spat, "yes, she would. we're in love, and this is a mutual decision. she doesn't like you lee heeseung, and she definitely doesn't love you. so stop dreaming, for she will never be yours."
