"It hurts knowing they're happier without me." - me 24/7
-----Nick and Clay loaded their car. Clay and Tommy's assassin related items were stuffed in a secret compartment in their car.
Other things were clothes, shoes, anything really that they needed.
But they also didn't pack much. They were prepared to leave their home. Maybe move if they needed.
"Alritht let's head out," Clay said shutting the trunk.
Nick hopped into the passenger seat and Clay took the driver's seat.
The drive was silent, Nick watched the road and Clay focused all of his attention on driving to the hideout he was instructed to go to.
Tommy and George will be there.
Nick took his eyes off the road and looked at his phone.
A message popped up.
Karl<3
Had to hack the system, you ok?Nick smiled at the message, he looked to the top of his phone. Barely one bar.
I'm fine? Are you good? Have you messaged Quackity?
He sent the message, it failed a few times before it sent.
He sighed.
"Who made you smile like that? Karl, maybe Quackity perhaps?" Clay asked, Nick looked out the window embarrassed.
"How much longer till we make it to the hideout, or wherever we're going?" Nick asked changing the subject, Clay sighed, "About ten, twenty minutes. Traffic is heavy." Clay answered.
Everyone was trying to get out of the city, where they would go they had no idea.
Nick groaned and layed his head on the cold window. Then his phone lit up again, drawing his attention back to the electronic device.
Karl<3
Yes, we're both fine. He's with me right now. Are the others alright?
Nick thought for a moment.
Yes they're fine. Where are you? Maybe we can meet up?
The message sent the first time, he had three bars. They were officially out of the city.
"Signals back. Maybe the city is a dead zone. We should steer clear of it." Clay nodded his head, he saw his phone light up. Someone was calling him.
"Who's calling me?" Clay asked, Nick looked at Clay's phone.
"Tommy is. I'm gonna answer it," Nick said grabbing the phone and answering the call.
"Dream? Where are you guys?" Tommy asked, his voice seemed shakey. "I've been trying to call you for like thirty minutes," he continued.
Nick sighed, "Its Nick, and we're heading to the same place you guys are. Are you ok?" He asked, he knew Tommy's anxiety wasn't the best.
"Yea. I'm all good. I have to change into my stupid uniform though. We're waiting outside for you guys." Tommy instructed, Nick hummed.
"I see. We're about maybe five minutes away." Nick answered, Tommy yawned, "Alright, see you soon. Make sure he has his mask on atleast." Tommy said hanging up the phone.
Nick put Clay's phone back in the cup holder.
"Who was it?" Clay asked out of curiosity.
"Tommy. He has to change in his uniform when we get there. You also need to change into yours too." Nick instructed, Clay groaned.
