Chapter 18

~Katherine'sPOV~

So today me and Carys are getting piercings at this shop in town and we were so excited. As we entered town me and Carys grabbed a starbucks and then we made our way to this shop called The Reckless Image, as we entered I saw a very familiar face "EMILY!!" I screamed and she ran over to me and gave me one of the biggest hugs ever but then the shop owner sam came out "oh hello what can i get you two?"

"it's ok sam I got this one and is it ok if they have it free?" Emily asked making us smile.

"oh you know these two?" Sam asked Emily

"yeah I know these very well" Emily exclaimed and Sam nodded his head and left to go have a cigrette or something like that "so what brings you here Katherine?" Emily asked me.

"oh well first this is my one of my best friends her name is Carys" I exclaimed so it wouldn't seem awkward.

"hi it's nice to meet you" Carys greeted Emily.

"I want a lip piercing" I said and she nodded, we walked over to the piercing area and I sat down.

"which one do you want?" she said pointing to the case of piercings. I looked until I found the one I wanted a plain black one exciting I know but it's what I wanted.

"oh my god this is gonna hurt so bad" I said holding onto Carys' hand.

"no it's not she's gonna put anesthetic on it" Carys assured me and I let out a sigh of relief.

"no its gonna hurt even though I put some anesthetic on it" Emily joked and I looked at her "what I was kidding" Emily said and then she put the needle through my lip and can I just say it only hurt a little bit but then she grabbed it and replaced the needle with the ring and let go "how was that then?" Emily asked.

"it was fine it didn't hurt at all" I answered then she held up a mirror and I looked bad ass "ok Carys your turn" she nodded and sat in the chair

"what do you want done?" Emily asked.

"I want a gold nose piercing and a black lip piercing like Katherine" she answered then Emily did as she was asked and when she was done she looked awesome Michael is gonna love her.

Me, Carys and Emily went to a local Cafe so we could catch up on things.

"so is there someone special in your life?" Emily asked me and I honestly don't know what to say.

"well I don't have a boyfriend but I kissed someone quite recently"

"who?" Emily asked again.

"my ex bully" I answered.

"YOUR WHAT?!" Emily shouted which made Carys and me jump.

"listen it sounds crazy I know but he has changed a lot"

"what's his name?"

"his name is Luke"

"wait the same Luke that went to our school"

"Yes that Luke"

"He was such a dick to you though"

"I know but he had a lot going on his life"

"Yeah bu-" Emily said getting angry.

"Let's leave it now"

"Fine"

The whole time we were at the coffe shop was great Carys and Emily became good friends and it was nice but Emily told us how she lives on the streets and it really hurt knowing that my childhood friend is homeless.
