Grain

The wheat field glowed gold in the rising sun's rays. A sea of grain rolled for miles. Little fish of poppies peaked their heads through the lovely rods. But it wasn't just poppies, it was marigolds, and daisies and bluebells.

The fields' glory came and went as the sun rose and I got to watch it all happen from the place under my tree. The summer sun warmed me. The tree above sheltered me. The wheat provided me with day old bread. I didn't move from my spot that whole day. No one came to bother me. I had time to think alone. Just me and the birds who tweeted their joyous songs.

It was one of those days where nothing happened. And that was alright.

A character finds a magical turtle. It follows him/her/them around and tries to "help" by making small wishes the character utters aloud come true. The results are more embarrassing than anything else.

Bronwynn sat down on a stool by one of the work tables. She picked up a knife and pushed it against a branch. Strong, thick but not bulky, flexible. The turtle she'd found that afternoon waddled beside her and lay its wrinkly head on her booted foot.

An hour later, the branch still looked like nothing like a bow. Bronwynn sighed, her brow furrowed and fingers rough and cut up from the blade. She cursed nursing a new flesh wound, "I wish my fingers would stop bleeding."

She blinked. The sharp pain reseeded. Her fingers looked less calloused than before, no cuts anywhere on them.

A character you have created comes to life. Congrats - you've got a new roommate!

AN: this is a character my friend and I made while watching "Charlie and the Chocolate factory". Any mention of events, characters or settings from either of the movies and the book belong to their respective creators/owners.

I magically appeared in a cloud of sparkles, sprawled onto the floor of a bedroom. The floor was super messy with no room whatsoever. A girl stared at me, it must've been my looks. I stood up and brushed myself. I puffed up my blonde ringlets trying to make them look presentable.

"Who? What? HUHHH???" the girl asked dumbfounded.

Of course she'd never heard of me. I, Crystal Jade Emerald Frost, was simply a lowly Oompa Loompa. The only girl from Loompaland. I was still in my work clothing.

"Oh! Um, I'm Crystal Jade Emerald-."

"Frost," she finished, "Ya I figured that out pretty quickly. But like, how did you get here?"

I looked up at this girl with my purple-pink orbs and my mouth agape.

"B-but how do you know?"

"My friend and I literally created you. That's how."
