Tommy's POV(3rd person-ish):
"Bye tubbo! See you tomorrow!"
"Bye tommy!"
The short duo waved to each other and ran off in different directions, both heading to their own homes. Tommy slowed down from a sprint, to a jog, to a speed-walk, to just walking normally. He looked around, breathing out a puff of air in-front of his fingers before clasping them together as if he was catching the air.
It was cold in January, with the frost and snow sometimes pummelling down in what-seems-like days between each plummet of ice and snowflakes falling down... which apparently made tommy less cold.
Somehow, someway, tommy wasn't affected by the cold, hard winter days. It seemed as though he actually got... better? As time went by.
He never had a thing for snow, always preferring summer breezes and spring flowers instead of sad clumps of ice and water. Still, it was fun to have a snowball fight once in a while.
Speaking of which, he might've just had a snowball fight! With tubbo, of course. They were both best friends.
He lost, but would never admit it. He had fun though! With all the adrenaline coursing through his veins, he felt powerful. Like a warrior! An ice warrior! Or king. An ice king.
...
He should watch adventure time again.
Tommy nearly bumped into a pole as he was clouded with thoughts in his head. He narrowly avoided it, swerving around quickly.
Worst mistake he's ever made. He bumped into someone. Yikez.
"Sorry-" he apologised before looking at the person.
"No, no it's fine. If anything, I should be the one apologising." They were tall. Short-ish, black and white hair split in half that slightly fell over their face. Small, white scars slightly splattered over their face with vermillion-red and emerald-green piercing eyes. Skin that split from white to black directly in the middle of their face, making them so symmetrical. Their jawline was so sharp but so soft at the same time. They were attractive as hell. "I wasn't looking where I was going. Apologies." They had a slightly low voice that was laced with genuine kindness.
They were kinda h- cool. They were kinda cool.
"It's... it's fine." Tommy answered, a little embarrassed that he was staring for a bit. He fiddled with his fingers and looked away as the stranger eyed him up and down.
"Aren't you cold? It looks like you're not wearing anything possibly good for this weather." They were concerned, which was nice, about what Tommy was wearing. To be fair, he was wearing a short sleeved shirt and black shorts with ankle socks and sneakers. Not exactly warm for winter, but he didn't really get affected by cold so he didn't care.
"Nah, I'm okay." Tommy wiped his face from the sweat he got while running to where he was now. Was he this sweaty before?
"Are you sure?" They seemed a little sorry for tommy, which was a little weird. They took out a scarf and some mittens and passed them to tommy. "Here. A little something that's good for this weather."
"Oh... well thank you." Tommy held the mittens and scarf, before thanking the kind stranger. He put the gloves on and fumbled over the scarf a little. He didn't really... know how to wear a scarf. "I'll just... wear these correctly." He didn't know what he was doing. It was a little stupid, honestly. Not knowing how to tie a scarf. The person smiled, unbeknownst to tommy, and held out a hand.
"Do you need some help?"
"...yeah. I don't know how you tie these things-" tommy blurted out, a little ashamed.
The kind person chuckled and smiled, before un-ravelling the tangled mess of the scarf and elegantly folding it around tommy's neck very effortlessly, making Tommy's heart skip a beat. Why did it skip a beat?? "There we go."
"Thanks... uh, what's your name?" Tommy tried to thank the... person. It came out as more of a question though.
"Oh- my name's ranboo. Ranboo M. Beloved. What's your name?" The st- Ranboo said, flashing a small smile at tommy. His heart skipping another beat.
"I'm tommy... t-tommy craft. Mien... craft" Tommy stuttered, looking away for a moment. Why was he so embarrassed all of a sudden?
"Well, t-tommy miEn craft," Ranboo slightly mocked tommy, holding back laughter with a smile, "would you like me to escort you home? You seem intriguing to me."
Tommy, almost immediately, nodded his head. "S-sure. You also seem... uh... cool to me." Tommy joked, with a slightly awkward smile.
Ranboo's laughter made butterflies flutter in Tommy's stomach. He smiled, a genuine smile, as ranboo wiped a tiny tear from his eye.
And so the two headed to Tommy's house, conversing the entire time. Ranboo seemed so interesting to Tommy, and the same could be said for ranboo.
Tommy was... first of all, cute. He had baby blue eyes and platinum that faded into dirty blonde hair, with little hazelnut freckles littered across his face. He had slightly chubby cheeks and some rosy permanent blush on them. His jawline was soft, and would probably feel that way too if ranboo could touch it. Gosh, he was just adorable.
Secondly, he had AMAZING jokes. One after another, they came slightly tumbling off his tongue as he spoke. He was funny, and he knew it as well.
Thirdly, his laugh was so contagious. It was bubbly and light, but loud and sweet. Ranboo loved it. All of it. All of Him.
Ranboo loved Tommy. He hoped the same could be said for Tommy.
"So there I was, fighting with small orbs of cold ice as I was pummelled in-" tommy rambled out, smiling widely. He looked infront of him and immediately stopped talking. "Well, this is my house! Do you... want my number? So we can talk again?" Tommy slightly mumbled out.
"Sure! Can you get out your phone so i can put it in?" Ranboo smiled, which gave Tommy more butterflies. He nodded and quickly scrambled to get his phone out. He input his password, stumbling with slight shivering fingers as he took a glove off. He passed his phone to ranboo, slightly shoving it to him accidentally.
"Aaaaaaand there we go!" Ranboo passed Tommy's phone back to him after a brief moment of silence. "Can you call me now to check if I put it in right?" He chuckled, looking back at his phone. "Sure, give me a moment" tommy tapped the home screen and looked for ranboo's contact, before pressing it and phoning him. It went through, and ranboo's phone started to ring. "Ah- thanks Tommy!" Tommy smiled and ended the call.
"Oh, uhm... I don't know if this is a sensitive question but... what are your pronouns ranboo? I just... think it'd be good if you told me them!" Tommy rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, nervously smiling and looking up at ranboo.
Ranboo smiled. "Thanks for asking. My pronouns are he/they. What about you toms?" Tommy was not prepared for a nickname so soon, but he allowed it. For now.
"He/him, and no problem... rans."
Ranboo laughed at the nickname, making tommy smile widely.
"Rans?? That is the worst nickname I've ever heard"
"Hey! It's not like toms is better!"
"It is better, this is factual because I am the government-"
"No you're not-"
"But if I WAS-"
Ranboo walked home with a smile on his face that day. It was a good day.
