"What if something happens!? What if there's some sort of complication?!? I should go in." Pepa was pacing back and forth through the hallway. Mariano and Dolores were with the doctor in her room. We were all waiting either upstairs or downstairs. Julietta was in the kitchen with Luisa and Isa making snacks.

"Tia, dad already told you. Everything will be fine." I said, leaning against the railing. Felix, Camillo, and I had been listening to her stress for a while now, trying to get her to calm down a bit. Felix and Antonio were waving her clouds away as best he could, while Camillo and I were talking to her.

"But what if he was lying!" She accused.

"He wouldn't. He'd want to tell you if something was wrong so that we could fix it." Camillo responded. "Mami, Dolores will be fine." He walked over to her and put his hand on her shoulder, stopping her pacing and looked at her. Finally, she nodded and went to sit on the floor with Felix and Antonio. Camillo moved to stand by me again.

"You okay?" He asked me, eyeing the scarf the now layed across my shoulders.

"I'm fine, just-" I leaned a little closer to him so Pepa wouldn't hear. "Nervous. Dad said it was slightly unsure what would happen. Like what happened with my vision. There were parts of it that were certain, they'll all be fine, but he thinks something might be off." He looked down in thought, worried. "Are you okay?"

"Hm? Oh yeah, completely." I raised an eyebrow at him. "Mira, I'm good!"

"It's okay to be worried. You don't have to be smiling and trying to make everyone else feel better all the time. You can feel stuff too, ya-know. We're all worried, Camillo." He sighed.

"The house definitely chose the best person to watch over the miracle. That's for sure."

Then, the door opened. We all shot up. The doctor peaked through.

"You can see them now." She said smiling. We all started to walk in, but she stopped us. "It's probably better if just the grandparents see them for now." She smiled sympathetically towards us and we stepped back, letting Pepa and Felix go. I wrapped my arms around Antonio- who was now taller than me so I had to stand on my toes- and Camillo.

"Alright, uncles. Let's go downstairs and get some snacks, hm?" They both nodded and we all went downstairs.

There were three babies. Two girls, one boy, just like before. Catalina, Maria, and Arturo. And I would be the one to present them the candle and give them their gifts.

A few years later...

Today's the day. It was time for the triplets ceremony. That I had to officiate. So obviously, I was freaking out.

I was walking around my room stressing about what I would have to say and do.

"Mija, hon, you'll do great I promise. Your starting to look like your aunt." Papa said from my bed.

"Dad what if I say the wrong thing?! The whole town will be there tonight!!"

"It's not going to be perfect. Your aunts and I's weren't all that perfect either." I stopped pacing to look at him.

"What?"

"Yeah. It was the first ceremony. Plus she had three little kids to take care of. I remember her being so nervous, and pretty much having no clue what to do. No one did. It's the same now. The first ceremony since she died. We are all just going to try our best. But, what matters is that we make this a fun night for the triplets. It's their night." I took a deep breath.

"You're right. But I still don't know what to say."

"That's okay. We'll all help you." He smiled and I did the same. "All you really need to do is say the speech that you've been practicing for literally months, go up the stairs, hold the candle near each triplet, and watch as they get their gifts. You'll be amazing."

"Thanks, Papa."

"Maria- stop running away!!!" We heard Dolores running through the hallway chasing her daughter. She peeked her head in the door panting. "Mirabel- can you help me get her? She needs to get ready and won't take a bath." I chuckled and turned to dad as she left again.

"Duty calls." I took another breath and ran out of the door.

"Antonio! You're still young and spry, help us get Maria!!" Dolores called out from the other side of the house.

After we found her, and Arturo and Catalina, I took them to see the candle before their ceremonies.

"So that's how we're all magic?" Catalina asked. All four of us were on my bed. They were around me while I held the candle.

"Yep. Cool huh?" I answered.

"Tia?" Arturo questioned.

"Yes?"

"How come you don't have a gift?"

"I do, at least I think so. My gift was this. This family, this life. No one truly knows, though. Your great abuela believed I didn't get a gift because I was meant to watch over the candle, that's the most likely reason. My dad says I was the gift, but that could just be him being a good dad." I smiled warmly at the memory of him explaining that.

"What if one of us doesn't get a gift?" Maria asked, worried.

"Don't worry about that. I mean, look at me. I'm pretty cool," I said, jokingly. "But, seriously, don't worry, no matter what happens, it'll be okay."

"Thanks Tia Mira." Cat said. The others nodded.

"Of course, but now, it's time to go. You guys ready?" They said yes and we left my room, bringing the candle.

After that, it all fell into place.

The night was perfect, but not in a way that was pressuring or stressful. It was fun! Isa decorated the house with colorful flowers, the whole town was at the Casita, there was good food and drinks, and it went amazingly.

I delivered the speech, the kids got their gifts, and it all ended with us partying in their rooms like always.

It was the best ceremony we'd ever had.

It was perfect.
