Y/N's POV: I stayed in bed until 12. Finally, I decided to have a shower. I couldn't bring myself to face anyone today so I just put in some joggers and a jumper and read a book in bed. It was perfect weather for a cosy day anyway. There was a massive storm outside. To be honest I think everyone was staying inside, well I think judging by the sound outside and the fire.
Jacob's POV: The big doors opened with a flick of a wrist. "Welcome Mr Nawaro" Dumblodoor said. Inside was amazing. My mouth just dropped. Unlike my old school it was warmly lit, and had the feeling of being home. "There has been an accident so we won't do a sorting ceremony, we will just go to my office and sort you there"
His office was amazing. It wasn't cold and lit by a green flame it was lit by candles and had strange books and artifices decorating the shelves. He walked over one of the items and picked it up. It was a strange looking hat, really dusty although it looked like it had a lot of use. "Take a seat" he gestured over to one of the chairs as he held the hat in both hands. "This hat will determine where your future lays" he looked over his half moon spectacles and walked over. As he started lowering the hat down it said in a grumpy old man voice "Slytherin" followed by grunts. "Ah you will make good friends there. I believe you already have some friends there to get you started" he's placed the hat back. I chuckled "yeah Tom and Mattheo" Dumbledoor nodded and led me back out. 2 people were stood waiting. "Hey Jacob" Tom said. "Oh wow hey guys" I went over and shook hands with each in a playful way. "They will be your tour guides, oh and one of you check up on y/n" he said. God I've heard that name somewhere before. "Cmon let's get started" Tom said "and we'll tell you about everyone you need to know" Mattheo winked.
Hours later we finally got to the dorms. I had learnt about people I could push round, watch out for and, most importantly, hook up with. Once again y/n's name came up at the 'watch out for' section. I'm sure I've heard that name somewhere. Mattheo threw me a key. "Your next to us" "ok"
As we all walked up to the dormitory stairs we heard crying and someone taunting someone. I stopped in my tracks and went to find what was going on, Theo and Tom right behind me. "Oi get off him you dickhead" he shouted.
Flashback "Scrawny fucking bitch" someone shouted at me. I was pushed against the wall, my head slamming right into it. The Boy was being jeered on by all his friends. "Knock him out Niko!" One shouted. I was terrified. My knees shook as he turned to me and began to raise his fist. "Pathetic 1st year" he spat. "Sercumseptra!" I heard from my side. The 5th year was knocked down, gasps came from around me. "Get off him" a little girl came Infront of me. Laughs spread around. "Accio!" Someone pointed at her wand as it flew out her hand "what ya gonna do now, little girl?" A girl challenged her "this" she said. She brought her hands up and the girl started choking. "I'm the dark lords daughter, bitch" and she slammed the girl into the back wall, knocking her out "now scram" she shouted at the rest. They quickly cleared out. She turned to me and held her hand out. "I'm y/n, y/n Slytherin"
End of flashback
Thats where I knew her from! Before I could find her I needed to deal with him. He walked over to me and towered over me, and I'm a tall guy. Before he could react I punched him in the gut. "Guys I'll deal with this" they nodded and walked off. I knew they had better things to do "we'll catch up later yeah?" Tom said. I nodded and turned back to the guy as they walked off. He doubled over as I punched him again. He went for me but I quickly dodged his tackle "impressive Nawaro" I heard a voice from behind. I knocked him out cold as he turned back to me and looked over to the direction of the voice. "Y/n!" She ran over to me and wrapped her arms round my neck as I swung her round. She was like a little sister to me.
Y/n's POV: He was like a big brother to me. Ever since that day I helped him we ruled that fucking school. Klaus joined later on but it had always been us. I'd laughed and cried my hardest with him. Some of his cousins worked for my father so he could come round when he wanted. As far ad I knew he was a Deatheater. "Damn it's been a while" i said "I haven't seen you since camp" I finished "until you got expelled" he laughed "yeah yeah, don't act like your not here for the same reason" We started walking to the courtyards to catch up. "Bro it's so different here, the teachers seem like they don't hit you across the face of you do something wrong, everything's so homely, it doesn't have any toxic hierarchy. It's so strange" "Uniforms aren't as cool though" I shoved my hands into my pockets as the sharp, cold air hit me. "True" he said. We walked over to a tree and sat down by it. It was about 4 but already dark. The courtyard was lit beautifully lit by candles the illuminated everything really well.
3 hours later We had talked for ages, like we never separated in the first place. "How's your father" he asked as he picked a piece of grass. "Still a bit of a bitch. Actually no a total asshole" we both started laughing but abruptly cut off my a coughing from behind Jacob. "You know her" Tom said coldly. "Well yeah, she's one of my oldest friends" he looked up to them and did his iconic smile. "Oldest?" Tom questioned "yeah riddle we went to school together. He got into some trouble in first year and since then we just clicked. You got a problem?" "You know him" Jacob asked. "Oh my days. What is it with me knowing people" "No one asked you Y/n" "God your such a bitch Tom!" I said back, standing up "I can't even talk to friends these days" I flung my hands up to show I was annoyed. "Surprised your sidekick isn't joining in" "Oi don't bring me into this" Theo smiled, knowing full well I was joking. I smiled back but returned a cold look to Tom "you interfere to much Tommy" I winked and pushed past him "Bye Tommy" Jacob mocked them quickly caught up with me before Tom could kill him.
The whole way back to my dorm we laughed, taking about memories and sharing our experiences with The Riddles. His father works for Voldemort, that's how he knows them he said.
That a night was one of the best I'd had in a while, I'd let him stay since I didn't want him to get caught. I was glad to have him back
