Chapter 7

Rain's POV

Thank goodness we're almost to our destination. If we weren't, I think that we would have died by now.

"Once we get back to the Frostbourne, Daryll can deal with Ember," I whispered to Stella. "The two will get along very well."

"Yeah," Stella agreed, laughing. "Shouting our ship names, spying on Patrick and Azura..."

"I kinda feel bad for the two now," I said. "They'll have two Darylls to deal with."

"Ember is the new Daryll," she said, smiling.

"At least Daryll never ate rotten flesh," I replied.

"True," she agreed. "Have you noticed that Ember stays up late sometimes?"

I shook my head. "Is that a problem?"

"Well sometimes when I pretend to sleep, I see him just staring at us with his sword in his hand," Stella explained. "Do you think he might..."

"Ember wouldn't do that," I told her.

"Maybe not to you and Moon," she pointed out. "But you know he doesn't trust me."

I gave her a sympathetic look. "Ember is just being Ember," I told her. "He'll get used to you eventually."

"I'll believe it when I see it." She replied.

"Hey, Stella?" Ember asked. "Quick question, how do you live in the Frostbourne with a short-sleeved dress?"

"Actually, that was never explained in the Rainimator Lore or anything, do I have no idea, other than I had magic." Stella answered.

"Well, you don't have magic now," Ember pointed out. "Or at least not the crazy magic you had once."

"Well, there's a logical scientific explanation and seriously? Do you really want to have this chat right now?" Stella said.

Moon smiled. "Yes," she said.

"MOON!" Ember groaned.

This is going to be interesting once we get back, I thought. I wonder if Patrick will yell at us this time. I mean nobody got hurt and nobody died.

For all I know, Patrick is just going to yell at us because he feels like it.

Or because Ember is going to yell Pazura.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" A boy screamed. "A NETHERKIN!!! WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!!!"

"Okay, I am one hundred percent offended now," Stella said.

"Hello, Dano," I said. "May you alert Ser Patrick that we're back."

"Y-yes D-d-dragon T-tamer," Dano stuttered before running off.

"Does everybody scream in fear when they see Stella?" Ember asked. "Because I don't blame them."

"HEY!"

"Uhh, no," I said. "And shut up."

"That was kind of rude, Ember," Moon told him.

"What, I'm only pointing out a fact!" Ember protested. "Why are you all looking at me like that? What did I say?"

"EMBER!!!!!" We yelled.

{Some time later...}

"So remind me why we have to talk to Patrick?" Moon asked.

"He's the Grandmaster," Stella answered. "We tell him everything that we've encountered."

"Come in," Daryll said.

When we entered, Moon cowered slightly.

"So you're back," Patrick said. "And I'm very pleased to see that none of you got cursed or anything."

"Told you we'd be safe," I said.

Patrick rolled his eyes. "So tell me, what happened?"

We went off explaining about Herobrine's Gang, finding Moon, Nebula, Null's death, Herobrine's Revenge and later his fall. We told him about the Entity."

Patrick looked concerned. "I should alert Azura so she knows what to watch out for," he said.

"PAZURA!!!" Ember yelled, and Patrick slammed his head on the table.

"Okay, Moonber," I told him.

"What? I still don't get what Moonber is," Ember said, confused.

"It's the official ship name," I said. "Moonber," I added, fist bumping Patrick.

Daryll had a mischievous look on his face.

"And you really had to say that?" Ember asked.

"That's ironic coming the guy who says ship names every day," I noted. "Ask the SeaWing."

"OH HELL NO!" Ember shouted. "I AM NOT ASKING HER!!!"

"Okay, all of you are dismissed," Patrick said. "Ember, take a chill pill."

"I'll take Moon to the library," Stella said to me. "Um, if that's okay with you?"

"Yeah, it is," I said.

"Okay, thanks," she said.

"See you soon," I told her, kissing her on the cheek.

"RAIN!!!" Patrick yelled. "I TOLD YOU NO KISSING IN FRONT OF MY OFFICE!"

Dano is probably not his real name, but he does make an appearance in Cold as Ice and We Are The Danger.
