Ember's POV

Honestly, I really messed things up.

And don't you dare make a snarky comment about that.

I don't know how she found out but she did.

It was at night time, and the world blew up... oh wait, wrong story.

"Hey, Ember," Stella said. "May I speak to you alone?"

I was tempted to say no, because this was an obvious trap, and I was not falling for it.

"Stop giving me that look, Ember," Stella said, looking a bit ticked off. "This isn't a trap."

"Fine," I said, following her.

I was, however, starting to regret following her because it was the middle of the night and everybody else was sleeping.

Maybe I should just turn back right now.

"Ember..." Stella said, dragging me now.

When we finally got there, I turned around and glared at her.

"Okay, what's the whole point of bringing me here?" I asked.

"Relax, Ember," Stella said, with a hint of anger in her voice. "I'm not about to become all savage and kill you. No matter what you say.

I blinked and then shook my head. "I never said that," I told her.

"Not to me, you haven't," Stella replied. "But behind my back, you have."

"Well, I think I have every right to do so." I said.

"Oh really?" Stella said. "And what makes you say that?"

"Because you're a Netherkin," I replied.

"Wow, excellent reason," Stella said. "Would you like some fries with that?"

"What are fries?"

"Never mind..."

"Look Ember, I know you don't trust me," Stella said. "And I understand too, but what I don't understand is why you wouldn't tell me. Does it make you feel more powerful whispering behind my back, or are you scared?"

I froze. Was she caling me a coward?

"Well, at least I'm not a savage creature!" I yelled.

Stella looked shocked now. "B-but I'm not like the other Netherkin." She stammered.

"Maybe it's because you're defective," I replied

"I AM NOT DEFECTIVE!" Stella yelled.

"See I was right," I said, smirking.

"Right about what?" She asked.

"You truly are a savage," I said. "And you know what? I WISH THAT YOU WOULD JUST LEAVE THE FROSTBOURNE AND GO FIND SOME OF YOUR OWN SAVAGE KIND, BECAUSE YOU DON'T DESERVE ANYTHING, YOU CREATURE. I HOPE THAT YOU WOULD STAY AWAY FROM EVERYBODY HERE, AND JUST GO DIE IN A HOLE. YOUR MOTHER NEVER LOVED YOU, YOU ABANDONED THE COVEN, AND YOU BECAME A SAVAGE MONSTER!!! THE ONLY THING YOU DESERVE IS MISERABLE DEATH!!! AND I HOPE SOMEBODY DOES KILL YOU BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT EVERYBODY SHOULD DO TO YOU BECAUSE THE WORLD WOULD BE SAFER WITHOUT YOU IN IT!!!!!!"

Stella looked at me, her face full of hurt, then she cleared her throat and glared at me. "Fine, I'll leave and find my own kind," she said. "Because it'll make you feel safe."

Then she began to run off, tears falling from her eyes.

"WAIT STELLA! I'M SORRY!!!" I yelled. "I DIDN'T MEAN THAT! PLEASE COME BACK!"

But Stella was already gone.

What have I done?
