Chapter 27

Liam's POV

All I remember is my name.

Everything else had faded away.

All I knew was that I had a sniper and I had passed out upon meeting another young man.

Now I was in a place that was called Dreadfort, which sounded very dreadful, sorry for the pun. 

Luckily, the people there were pretty nice, and they came over to check on me.

"So, you don't remember anything?" Azura asked.

"Expect my name," I answered.

"You just have amnesia, which means you lost your memory," Azura explained. "Don't worry, there is a chance it'll return. But I don't know how long it will take."

"It's okay," I said. "Thank you for helping me."

"You're welcome," she said. "You should talk to Rain, Ember, Moon, Razer and Meeps."

"I'll do that," I said.

"What's your name?" She asked me.

I opened my mouth to say it's Liam Harper, but then I closed it again. Liam just didn't seem right anymore.

I'm not sure how I lost my memory, but maybe there's a reason why I lost my memory. Maybe I lost my memory so I could restart my life, and choose a new destiny, which I can do... starting with my own name.

I smiled. "My name is Alex Fathom."
