Adnan was fresh out of the shower and dressed in maroon jogging bottoms with a white t-shirt and a maroon zip hoodie on top with red Adidas trainers.
"Ready?" Standing in the doorway he shot my a smile.
Nodding my head I stood up and took his hand in mine.As soon as we got in the car I turned the radio on and new flame was playing. I couldn't help but sing along as it was one of my favourite songs.
'Baby try a new thing
and lets spark a new flame,
You gon' be my baby,
love me, love you crazy,
tell me if you're ready,
baby come and get it,
try a new thing and
let's spark a new flame.'
I stopped dancing in my seat and turned my body around so I was fully facing Adnan who was just looking at me with a startled face.
"What?" I asked in a cute voice.
"I've never heard you sing like that before," He chuckled.
"Well it's not embarrassing around you because I'm marrying you," I laughed, "but it is around others."
"You shouldn't be embarrassed, you can actually sing," He smiled at me and then put his eyes back to the road.
I blushed at his comment.
His left hand moved its way to my left cheek and cupped it.
"I love it when you blush, it's so innocent," He smiled and I giggled.
"Thanks boo," sticking my tongue out to him, his hand moved from my cheek and touched the side of my tongue making me laugh. He wasn't grossed out by it at all which made me smile.
He noticed my reaction. "It's only your saliva, we'll be doing a lot more so this is minor," He grinned at me as we pulled up in the Starbucks parking lot.
"Naughty boy," I winked at him and quickly jumped out of the car.
"It's the way of life Han," He winked at me and then chased me. His strong arms came around me just as I reached the entrance, "You're going to love it," He kissed my cheek and walked us inside.****
Starbucks was packed and it looked like there was no room to sit but luckily we found a cosy window booth.
"What would you like?" Adnan asked as he took his jacket off and placed it over his chair.
"Ummmm a caramel macchiato please," I smiled sweetly.
"Food?"
"I don't feel hungry."
"Hannah."
"Surprise me," I laughed as he grinned and walked off into the queue.I decided to get comfortable as I knew we'd be staying here for a while so I sat with my legs criss-crossed underneath me.
Adnan returned just over five minutes later with a tray which was holding two mugs, one slice of chocolate cake, one slice of carrot cake and two milk chocolate cookies.
This boy is good for junk food.
"Yum," I said as he sat down, "but honey.... How do you expect me to eat a cake and a cookie and manage to finish my macchiato?"
He looked at me sternly, "you haven't eaten properly so this will do the job," he hovered his hands above the tray that was now sat on the table.
"If not I'm giving it to you," Tilting my head, I smiled sweetly.
"Yes, I'm your personal rubbish bin," he laughed, "but please try and eat," he pouted.
I laughed at his attempt to pout; it was cute.
"That's a good thing for you! It means you get more food!" I giggled.
"True.... but it means that you still starve yourself."
Glancing up at him I sipped on the hot caramel macchiato, "So....."
"Hannah, we are not having this conversation," He dismissed the topic.
I pouted, "I don't want to have this conversation but I'll try and eat it all just for you," I sent him a fake smile.
He glared at me, "Don't give me a fake smile."
