Five years ago, after hundreds of years of the tyrannical rule, the Arcadia Empire was overthrown in a coup d'etat. Many only know of a Black Machine Dragon that achieved this, but there were two. A lesser known White Machine Dragon with untraceable...
Both boys leave the main office as (Y/N) offers to go to the room and get everything set up while Lux prepares for the match.
"Are you sure you don't need help?" asks Lux.
"Don't worry about it. You've got more on your plate. We need this win. We can't afford to lose at our current positions," replies (Y/N).
"I know," says Lux in a determined voice.
They exchange goodbyes. Lux keeps on walking before hearing someone shouting.
"Nii-san!" Lux turns around to see Airi in front of him.
"How are you, Airi?" Lux asks.
"Peeping Tom and Underwear thief, a relative of mine is a criminal. Nii-san, how do you think I feel?" replies Airi.
"It was just a misunderstanding," argues Lux.
"Where's (Y/N)?" Airi asks.
"He's putting stuff in our room. You'll see him later," replies Lux.
"Fine, I'll punish him later then," says Airi. "You two need to think about our situation more often."
Lux and Airi keep talking about their situation, Lisesharte's strength, and how Lux needs to win.
"Even though she's undefeated, if anyone can beat her, it's you or (Y/N), right?" Airi questions.
"Right!" replies Lux with confidence.
*To the arena*
Lux walks out of the arena gates and faces Lisesharte in the middle as Wyverns stand outside the arena to set up a barrier in the student section.
"Well then. The Machine Dragon match of the New Kingdom, First Princess Lisesharte versus Old Empire, former 7th Prince Lux... Will Start Now!" shouts the commentator.
The crowds seem full, with Relie watching from her seat, Krulcifer watching near a wall, and (Y/N) watching from the top of the stands.
"Lux Arcadia! Do you want to know why I challenged you to a duel?" Lisesharte asks.
"Is it because I'm the Prince of the Old Empire?" replies Lux.
"I will tell you if you defeat me," Lisesharte says with a grin.
As Lux and Lisesharte have a small conversation, (Y/N) is the only one in the crowd who can hear what they are saying due to the Baptism, which enhances his hearing and other effects.
'What's your true objective in this duel, Ms. Lisesharte? Princess of the New Kingdom.' (Y/N) ponders before looking back at the match.
Lux draws his sword device and shouts, "Come to me, a symbol of power worthy of the Crest of the Winged Dragon. Let us soar with the blade!" The Wyvern armor forms around his body, and a sword appears in his hand.
