"Securing a position on the Ruins investigation...Well done, my friend. But...have you verified her capability to serve as the 'Key'?" questions the cloaked figure.
"Yes. After the Abyss exploded, I saw the Ruin swallow her up, as to protect her. And that settles it. With that 'Key', we can reach the hidden and unexplored depths of the Ruins. And thus I will be able to obtain the greatest power and the greatest wealth," proclaims Balzeride.
"But, you have some weird duel to win before the engagement goes through. Are you assured victory?"
"A foolish question, my friend. The 'Azi Dahaka' I bought from you is the strongest. It won't lose to anyone. For example, even if...The Black Hero were to appear."
The cloaked figure smirks. "Oh, speaking of which...I have something to tell you on that topic, Lord Balzeride. The legend of the Old Empire. The Black Hero, his Divine Dress, and its true form...Do you want to buy that information?"
Balzeride looks at the cloaked figure in shock, as the cloaked figure continues to speak. "Of course...I'll tell you the Divine Dress and the true form of that White Hero as well..."
Hours later, the cloaked figure is once again seen walking away from the Balzeride House, before laughing to himself. "It wasn't just her that the Ruin swallowed up to protect...There was another..."
*In The Ruins*
"You're a survivor of the Ruins?" (Y/N) questions.
"In Ymir, the fourth Ruin, 'Hole'. The Einfolk family led an investigation there...And I was discovered by my adoptive father....In the Ruins, there are Boxes that hide secrets of ancient times, but there are also cylinder shaped containers that hold treasure, information, and in my case living beings." Krulcifer touches the cylinder shaped container. "I was found as a child in a box shaped like this long ago...And then they adopted me. Certainly not because I was affluent. But probably because...they expected me to link them to the lost past through the Ruins."
(Y/N) looks at Krulcifer in shock, as she continues. "But, I had no memories of the past. Knowing nothing, I was raised by the Einfolk family..." A memory pops up, showing a younger Krulcifer smiling, as her adoptive father puts the headband around her head.

*Flashback*
In a castle, a much younger Krulcifer is seen walking. A younger Alterize is seen talking to another maid.
"U-Uhmm...I started working in this mansion yesterday..." says Alterize in a nervous voice.
"Alterize,...Come here," says the maid.
The two begin talking, as Krulcifer walks away crying.
'That girl was...a child they got from the orphanage. Even she has people around her...Why am I the only one...Alone."
