Chapter 4: What It Means To Be Queen

(Y/N) and Lux are seen walking towards a shed in the back of the school.

"Excuse me! It's Lux and (Y/N)," shouts Lux.

"We've come to take care of the job you requested," (Y/N) continues.

The two boys look towards the side as they see Lisha on the ground sleeping.

"Lisha?" questions Lux. "Why are you here?"

"Huh?" Lisha responds while rubbing her eyes. "Oh, I put in a work order today, right?"

"Where's the workshop manager?" (Y/N) asks.

"Right in front of you," Lisha responds.

"Huh?! Really?!" replies Lux.

"Here," says Lisha, throwing Wyvern sword devices to (Y/N) and Lux.

"You repaired these yourself, huh," (Y/N) says, surprised.

"Yep. I needed too because I'm recommending you two join the school's Chivalric Order," responds Lisha.

"I'm sorry, what?" Lux replies.

*Timeskip*

"Do you intend to let them join, Lisha?" Shalice questions.

Lux is seen sitting up straight nervously while (Y/N) is leaning back and playing with the black collar on his neck.

"That goes without saying. They'll show their abilities to the fullest from here on," replies Lisha.

"I'm sorry. What are we talking about?" Lux asks.

"Well, Princess Lisha wanted to recommend you two to this unit. A unit where you can use a Drag-Ride in places rather than during practical skill exercises...called the 'Chivalric Order,'" Shalice informs.

Other members of the Chivalric order are seen around the room, being Airi, Noct, Shalice, Tillfur, Phi, Krulcifer, Lisha, and now both Lux and (Y/N).

"I'm sure both of you know that there's a shortage of talented Drag-Knights in the New Kingdom, right? Well, a guerrilla unit called the 'Chivalric Order' holds special permission to prepare for Abyss and Calamity," informs Shalice. 

"Simply a unit composed of the academy's elites," states Tillfur with a smile.

"And you want me and (Y/N) to join this?" Lux asks.

"Well, it isn't a place where just anyone can join. The three conditions of joining are:

1. You must get a high evaluation of the results of the campus battle.

2. Your level as Drag-Knight must be above the intermediate level.

3. The majority of members in the 'Chivalric Order' must vote for the approval of your joining," says Shalice with a harsh tone.

"It's fine. The first two requirements are prerequisites. Besides, you guys should know Lux's ability, as he had a one-on-one battle against me and went against a Gargoyle with a simple Wyvern," states Lisha proudly.

"Unfortunately, all the third-year students are at the capital for practice," Shalice informs.

"In that case, shouldn't we wait for the third years to come back before deciding Lux and (Y/N) joining? There may be a clash of opinions, not to mention that most of us have yet to see what (Y/N) can provide, let alone fill the requirem-" says Noct before getting cut off.

"Oh, don't worry about that," says Krulcifer. "(Y/N) hits all requirements regarding the team; the leader of the Order is quite the man-hater."

"And who would that be?" (Y/N) questions.
