If you would have told Amaya that she would be returning back to Mexico three almost four years later, she would have laughed in your face and called you crazy. But, alas, here she was stepping out of Tijuana International Airport waiting for her close friends to pick her up. "Of course these girls aren't here yet." Amaya sighed, crossing her arms in front of her chest. She looked around the airport to see if she could see even a glimpse of the two girls but they were nowhere in sight. Amaya sighed again, shaking her head at her best friends' lateness. Just as she was about to raise her hand and call a taxi, she sees Jocelyn's car pulling up.

"Sorry I'm late, you know traffic here sucks." Jocelyn explained as she closed her car door, walking towards Amaya to give her a hug. While hugging her friend, Amaya couldn't help but think about how different Jocelyn looked from the last time she had seen her. Couple years ago, Jocelyn had long black hair, braces, and was the shortest out of the three. Now, she's rocking a black bob with bangs covering her forehead, no braces, and is about three inches taller than her.

"That's true, but knowing you I'm pretty sure you were too lazy to get out of your bed." Amaya responded, laughing as they broke out of the hug and started putting her luggage inside of the car trunk.

"Y dónde está Stephanie, pensé que venía contigo?" Amaya asked, seeing as her other best friend was nowhere in sight. Jocelyn shrugged as she started the car's engine.

"No se, she told me she had to do something and wouldn't be able to come with me to pick you up." Jocelyn replied. Amaya simply nodded, turning her head to look out the window. As much as she loved LA, she missed Tijuana more than ever and being here brought so many memories, good and bad.

"So how was living in LA? I'm sure you've had a bunch of guys heartbroken about the news of you leaving." Jocelyn jokes, looking at her best friend before turning back to the road. Amaya turned her head to look at Jocelyn, rolling her eyes. Jocelyn was always the type to want to know everything that goes on in her best friends' lives. Even if they would call each other everyday, it wasn't the same. Now that Amaya was here, Jocelyn would get the chance to catch up with the brunette face to face.

"LA was good, we should definitely go there for a girls trip, I can show you all the food spots that I used to go to and as for boys, you know I was with David for the majority of my time there." Amaya stated as she turned back to look at the window.

"Speaking of the devil, what was his reaction to you moving back to Tijuana?" Jocelyn mentioned. She knew about Amaya's on and off relationship with David and how toxic it became once the boy realized that the green eyed brunette would soon move back to Mexico.
