Izuku followed Matsuko-sensei in silence. He had no idea where they were going, but he trusted the older vampire, so he didn't ask.
After a while, they reached a dirty, graffitied bridge, and Matsuko-sensei walked under it, to a steel door on one side of it. Opening the door, he ushered Izuku inside, followed him in, and closed the door behind them.
Inside was a large, very grungy room. There were boxes stacked against the walls, and a few chains hung from the ceiling. Attached to one of the chains, was a man, with large biceps, and a thick torso. His hands were tied together with a thick leather belt, and he appeared unconscious. Izuku looked at Matsuko-sensei with a question in his eyes.
"Eat. You will need it."
Confused, Izuku stepped towards the man, he had not had fresh blood in years. Matsuko-sensei, would normally harvest it for him. His gut squirmed nervously, as he stood in front of the man. With a trembling hand, Izuku pushed the man's head aside, exposing his neck.
Could he really do it?
Closing his eyes, Izuku leaned forward, and bit him, before he could over think it. As soon as his fangs pierced the skin, a gush of lilac blood leaked out around his fangs, and his licked it off of the skin. The taste of the man's confidence and surprise filled Izuku's mouth, and he started to suck on the wound, drawing out more of the rich, sweet liquid.
There was a groan, and the creak of a chain. The man was stirring, but Izuku ignored it. His hunger had been aroused, and he didn't want to stop. A hand was placed on his shoulder, and Izuku pulled away, the lilac blood staining his teeth. His instinct was to fight, this was his meal. But as soon as he came face to face with his mentor, he stilled, battling himself, trying to quell the hunger that gnawed at him, to ignore the longing, that filled him.
Matsuko stared into Izuku's eyes, noting the hunger that looked back at him. But he trusted his student. He was stronger than this.
After a few moments, Izuku calmed a little, winning his inner battle, and licking the blood off of his teeth and chin. He dropped his gaze from his teacher's face.
"...I'm sorry, sensei."
Matsuko shook his head,
"You have nothing to apologize for."
Izuku remained silent, as Matsuko lead the way back through the door they had come through. He lead Izuku down several streets and through quite a few alleys, until they finally came to an old apartment building. Stopping across the street from it, Matsuko-sensei pushed Izuku towards the ramshackled structure.
"There is a group of villains inside."
Izuku gazed at his teacher, slow to catch on to his meaning. Matsuko looked up at Izuku, as he leaned casually against the wall behind him, waiting for the the young vampire to realize.
Once he had realized, Izuku crossed the street, looking around nervously as he entered the building.
Inside Izuku found a group of villains planning something. After a moments hesitation, he charged into the room, speed and surprise both on his side.
There were thirty or so people grouped around a large table. No one saw Izuku until after he had managed to knock out eight of them, and three more fell before the others completely realized what was happening, at which point, hell broke loose.
Several tried to grab Izuku, several more activated their quirks, one man started to melt into a green slime like substance, another coated his arm in flames, a woman gathered water in her hands, and many reached for weapons.
However Izuku was much faster then all of them, and much stronger as well. He defeated them one after another, though a few managed to distract him for several seconds, and the man who had turned into slime slipped into the sewer grate, getting out while Izuku knocked out the others.
Quickly finding some rope, Izuku tied the villains up, before he dashed outside, following the faintest sounds the fleeing villain made. Izuku was hoping the villain passed under a manhole, so he could apprehend him, but every time one came into sight, the villain would take a different tunnel, and Izuku didn't know if he could find him again if he lost him.
The chase continued, as Izuku wove through pedestrian traffic, doing his best not to get noticed, or run into anyone, while the sludge villain fled through the sewers, doing his best to get away.
Finally, the villain burst out of a manhole not far in front of Izuku, but was in the middle of a busy street, making it impossible for Izuku to capture him without drawing attention to himself.
Just as Izuku reached where the villain had emerged, from the sewer, he ducked into a flower shop nearby, and Izuku tripped over the manhole cover, landing hard on the pavement.
Izuku pushed himself up, ignoring the stinging scrapes that were quickly healing across his hands, and forearms, turning around as the sludge villain burst out of the shop, the cash register in his... sludge hold.
He knocked a woman aside, sending her crashing into the wall, as she threw up a pale blue shield to protect herself with, and Izuku quickly took off after him. Unfortunately, he had to restrain himself to a more natural speed, since there were onlookers, and he didn't want to draw any more attention.
He ended up losing the man, and turned back to find Matsuko-sensei again, only to realise that he was lost.
Slowly turning in a full circle, Izuku took in his surroundings, trying to figure out which way to go.
A loud clatter had him whipping around, to find a cash register sitting on the pavement, empty, and smashed. Izuku frowned in confusion, and that was when he made his mistake.
Izuku knelt down to investigate further, distracted, when something grabbed a hold of him from behind, dragging him back, as he struggled in its gelatinous grip.
"You're a pain in my ass, kid. But now you're gonna be useful!"
The villain seemed to be trying to kill him, though Izuku didn't want it to come to that. Matsuko-sensei would not be happy, if he found out Izuku almost got killed. Especially because he couldn't be. Not the way this villain was going about it.
Unfortunately, because of the villain's near liquidus state, Izuku was struggling to get out of its grasp. Just because he wouldn't die, didn't mean it would be comfortable.
Izuku's lungs began to burn, as he continued to struggle in vain. His fingers slipped through the person currently trying (and failing) to kill him. His head was spinning, and everything was beginning to fade.
Just before he passed out, Izuku thought he saw someone running towards them, seeing back their fist.
But then, it was gone.
This wasn't quite where I originally wanted to end this chapter, but screw it, y'all have waited long enough for this crappy chappy.
I'm not exactly sure where this story will end up, but I'll try not to leave it so long. You guys know me, I always come back!
(Usually)
