Attempting to calm her breathing, she gave herself a mental pep talk.

'It's fine. However bad it is, it'll pass. You'll be okay. Just keep calm, like you practised.'

"It's been blowing up on Twitter mostly, as per. I'm honestly surprised your phone didn't blow up." John mentioned, trying to make some sort of light out of the situation.

John passed her his phone.

"I didn't have wifi and I was too scared to ask for it!" She burst out, overwhelmed by the comments she was reading.

"Oh god, why do my favourite things always have to get ruined??"

"Homewrecker!"

"A classic cashgrab. They're obviously just trying to be more diverse."

"She is going to ruin The Beatles."

"We asked for a tour not a new member!"

"Terrible decision!"

"I liked The Beatles but I think this just changed my opinion."

"This ruined my day!"

It was seemingly endless. At this point all of them were on their phones, reading through the outrage that Sienna's recruitment had caused.

Out of nowhere, George let out a laugh. Each of them sending him cross looks, He glanced up, guiltily.

"What? Someone said we going to change the name to The Sheatles next. I thought it was funny..." He replied.

"Okay, maybe it's time we stop reading these hateful messages-" Paul said calmly, reaching out to try and take the phone from Sienna but she rejected his hand.

"'This new girl is going to completely destroy everything good about this band.' 'Why do musicians have to ruin it when they're on a winning streak?' 'Some basic teenage girl joining the greatest musicians of our time? That definitely won't end in flames.' Oh my god, I've ruined everything for you guys. They all hate me." Sienna quoted, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Hey, hey, you haven't ruined a thing. They are judging too quickly, it'll blow over." Paul attempted to reassure her but the impending downfall of rain from her eyes had arrived and it was relentlessly pouring.

"'Money hungry bitch', 'talentless bird', 'gold digging diva', 'soulless attention seeker'-"

Paul had snatched the phone from her hands, and she could barely look at any of them. Shame and guilt had encompassed her.

"This. will. blow. over. Trust me, Si. I know it's overwhelming at first glance but you have to understand that it's nothing on you. It's them who can't accept change, but as soon as we have all these killer songs out and your unreal piano solos, they will be eating their words. They are going to remember your name, Sienna Malbrook. And not for the bad, for the star that you are."

Paul passed her a nearby tissue box and she chuckled lightly, taking several of them.

"Are you sure you guys don't want to just pretend this all never happened and say it was a spineless rumour?" Sienna asked, finally plucking the courage to look Paul in the eyes.

"Are you kidding? If we did, we might have to steal that song of yours and pretend it's ours because that is going to top the charts." John responded with a smirk, "not to mention all those other hidden hits you've got in that journal of yours. You're an asset, Si. Just as valuable as any of us. More than George in fact."
