When we went down, the foods are already served and all the family members are about to eat. The seats left are across sahia and dihia who were seating beside each other. Shaun immediately sat down across dihia leaving me with no choice but to sit down across sahia.
I was about to get my food when sahia immediately gave me the chicken and placed it on my plate. I sighed a little bit making the three guys look at me.
"Love, kain na oh" Shaun looked at me and smiled. Ito talaga eh, yung mga ngiti niya yun ang dahilan kung bakit yung pagiging beast mode ko kumakalma.
"Shobe sorry na" nahihiyang sabi sakin ni Sahia. Tiningnan ko lang siya just to check if sincere ba yung sinasabi niya sakin o hindi.
"Ito naman shobe oh binibiro ka lang ni sahia mo. Hayaan mo na yan, parang hindi ka pa nasanay." Dihia smiled at me yung tipong matatawa na siya in a minute. Nakakainis pero sige pagbibigyan ko na sila sayang naman yung lugar tsaka anniversary pa pala namin ni Shaun I forgot.
"Sige na sige na you are forgiven" I rolled my eyes but then tumayo na kaagad si sahia sa tuwa hawak hawak ang kanyang wine glass.
"Family, I would like to make a toast" natatawa kong tiningnan si sahia na para bang hindi mukhang nalugi kanina.
"I would like to thank all of you for this family gathering. I know busy kayo lahat pero salamat dahil pumunta pa din kayo. To the Ildefonso's thank you, thank you!" Sahia was smiling to nanay Sabrina and tatay who are our in-laws, the mother and father of Shaun. "And lastly, happy anniversary to Shaun and Rics! May the both of you continue to love each other. And also continue to have more babies." The last sentence made everyone laugh but at the same time my brothers would look unsure and nandidiri.
"Cheers!" Everyone raised their glasses and drank.
I was quite unsure if I will drink tonight since my head was aching earlier and breastfed baby si Jaida. Good thing I drank medicine before going down to lessen the pain.
"Love, I won't drink medjo masakit ulo ko." I whisphered Shaun allowing him to only hear what I told him. "Ah ganon ba love? Gusto mo mag rest ka na muna sa taas after mo kumain ako na bahala kay baby?"
"Hindi love, I'm alright di nalang ako iinom." I smiled at him so that he won't worry too much.
We finished dinner and everyone was so happy. Dave made the mood funnier while everyone was just laughing loudly. Mostly everyone was able to share some stories that made everyone laugh.
I went to the play area where my daughter is playing with Caleb, Dave's son, and Pia. "Anak, did you have fun playing with kuya Caleb and ninang Pia?" I asked Jaida while she was playing with the sand. She nodded and ran away chasing Caleb.
"Ano Rics okay ka lang?" Pia worriedly asked me as she saw me almost fell down.
"Oo okay lang ako Pia, thanks for taking care of the kids."
"Ano ka ba okay lang yun noh! Besides ninang Pia is always here." She showed me her huge biceps acting like superman.
"Oh by the way Rics"
"Hm?"
"Nag text si Louisa niyaya niya tayong dalawa girls night out daw"
"Huh?" Litong lito kong tiningan si Pia na para bang hindi ko maintindihan kung anong pinagsasabi niya.
"Check mo phone mo. Nag chat siya sa group chat natin." Kinapa ko kaagad ang pocket ko and when I realized kung bakit hindi man lang nag notify is because naka mute pala.
