“I should really. You took a day off so that we can go on a trip but here I am just putting that to waste.
My days are usually fixed as my sessions are pre-scheduled, Sean on the other hand, on rare occasions, gets to go through a few unexpected things because of machine downtimes. That rare occasion happened before we left for our out of town trip.
He’s pretty bummed about it because we were supposed to leave yesterday but he got called to help out. Since he really cannot say no and I didn’t want him to either, he had to go.
We only could celebrate and spend time with each other after he got off today. I already had a back-up plan since this morning because I'm sure he’s disappointed about what happened.

I arranged the living room this morning and put up a few chairs and some stuff that would resemble a possible out of town trip. He said he planned something for me as his gift, but yeah that was ruined, thus his long sad face. I didn't really know what to get him because he’s not that materialistic.
He’d even just want to get nice shirts on certain occasions and that’s it. I decided to create a video of what our year was like as my gift and was planning to show him this when we’re out but I guess plans can change. He’s still a bit pouty though.
