Camilo's POV:

I was sitting on my bed in my room, still thinking about Y/n. I don't know why but I can't get her out of my head, she's just so pretty, funny, kind-

"Hey!" My bedroom door slammed open and I fell off of my bed. "Still thinking about Y/n?" My cousin, Isabella, asked.

"Yes." I answered halfheartedly, leaning up against the side of my bed, "I can't get her out." I told Isa, who sat down next to me on the floor.

"Well, good news," She bumped shoulders with me, "My mom and Mirabel just invited her and her family to dinner."

"WHAT?!" I whipped my head in her direction, hitting her face with my curls.

"Pfttt." She made a little spitting noise, probably trying to get hair out of hair mouth.

"Sorry, Isa." I said standing up and helping her get off the floor, "But, she's coming over here???"

"Yes. At 6." She answered. I glanced at the clock on the wall. 4:45. 1 hour and 15 minutes until she gets here.

Y/n's POV:

It's 5 o'clock. 1 hour. Now that it's 5, 1 hour, I run upstairs and start to figure out what to wear.

After about 30 minutes, 40 minutes, I chose this cute little flowery dress.

I matched it with some cute baby pink heels and some jewelry. I decided to leave my hair down. I also had a small, pastel green, cross-body bag.

I ran downstairs, realizing that it was 5:45, 15 minutes, 15 MINUTES!

My grandma and dad were already ready to go, so we headed out. We just walked because it was just down the street.

As we approached, the shutter on the window moved, kinda like a hand waving, so I waved back. My dad knocked and automatically opened to reveal Mirabel. She smiled.

As I entered the dining room, I noticed that there were name tags for every seat. I also noticed that Y/n was placed between Mirabel and I.

"Mirabel..." I whispered under my breath. I sat down

Mirabel led my family and I through the Casita to the dining room. Camilo. I could feel myself blushing the second I saw the back of his head, but my view was quickly blocked by a woman wearing bright yellow who immediately hugged me. When we broke, there was a rainbow over her head.

"Hi! I'm Pepa!" She told me.

"I'm Y/n." I smiled, which made her smile brighter, a sun appearing behind the rainbow.

After that, one by one, they all introduced themselves. Camilo had got up to introduce himself to my grandma and dad, and then he nodded and slightly waved at me from behind his sister. I did a little wave back.

We eventually sat down and started to eat.

Mirabel kept talking to me about everything. I could hear Camilo talking to my dad across the table. They got into a good conversation about soccer. (I feel like Camilo would like/play soccer.)

I was relieved when Mirabel excused herself to go to the bathroom. I mean, I like her and all, but, jeez, that girl can talk.

"Watch out. She'll talk your ear off if you let her."

I turned to face the voice.

"I believe she did, Cariño." (Dear) I said, my voice barely below a whisper. Blush formed on his cheeks.

I was so confident yesterday! Why am I so nervous now?! I don't know. Maybe it's because she looks so pretty, with that dress and matching shoes and matching bag. UGH PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER CAMILO!!

"I don't know, Mi sol, your ears are still there. Mmft. But they are turning red." He smirked.  I went and put my hair in front of my ears to hide the red.

"No need to do that, Mi Amor." He said, tucking the hair back behind my ears. I smiled.

After we finished eating, my family and I said goodbye to the Madrigals and headed home.

As we were about half a block from the bakery, my dad spoke up.

"So, what's going on between you and that Camilo boy?"

I laugh, "Nothing." (Why you always lyin'?)

"Huh-hun. I saw you two whispering across the table." My dad nodded

"Please! You could see their blush from miles away."

"Grandma!" I looked at her, "Nothing is going on between Camilo." I reassured them. (Why you always lyin'?)

"You sure." My dad asked as we approached the bakery.

"Positive." (Mmm Ohmigod STOP FUCKIN' LYIN')

"Good Night." I kissed them both on the cheek before heading to bed.
