Y/n's POV:

It was the day after I met Camilo. I woke up in my plant filled room, she sun shining through the curtains of my only window. I quickly got up and out of bed, picking out my outfit for the day. Then, heading into the bathroom to brush my hair and teeth. I decided just to pull my hair back in a messy bun, with my baby hairs sticking up and around my face.

I put on my cute peachy/coral dress for the day.

(Imagine something else if you please)

I did some simple make-up and headed downstairs.

"Morning Papa!" I said brightly as I entered the normal kitchen.

"Morning Y/n/n." He said flipping a pancake. I smiled.

___________

(Time Skip bc why not?)

After breakfast, I headed into the front bakery. I wiped down the counters, opened the shades, and changed the sign from closed to open.

Literally, not even 5 minutes later a woman and, who I assumed was her daughter, walked in.

"Hola Señora!" I said as the woman approached the counter, the girl following close behind.

The woman was wearing a blue dress with her curly hair tied back in a bun. I would say she looked about 50, maybe. The girl on the other hand looked about my age and she was wearing, what looked like, a handmade shirt and skirt, with little butterflies all over. She had big, round, green glasses and dork brown curly hair, that fell right in between her shoulders and chin.

 "Hola!" They said together.

"What's your name?" The younger girl asked.

"Oh! I'm Y/n. I'm new to town." I told them.

"So I've heard," the older lady said, "I'm Julieta, and this is my daughter Mirabel."

"You're apart of the Madrigals right?" I asked.

"Yes." She answered, "My gift is to heal anyone with a single meal."

"I don't have a gift really..." Mirabel spoke.

"Oh. I'm sorry." I looked down slightly, "Anyways, what can I get you?"

"Can we get 3 loafs of bread?" Julieta told me. I turned around to grab them and as I did I heard Mirabel whisper to her mom and her mother whisper something back.

"Anything else?" I asked, bagging the bread.

"Yeah," Mirabel answered, "Will you and your dad and your grandma come over for dinner at our house tonight?" She asked.

"Umm, let me check with my dad real quick." I said then I ran into the bakery kitchen, where my dad was working.

"Dad! MirabelandJulietaMadrigalaskedmeandyouandgrandmatocomeoverfordinnertonightcanwegoI'llworkextrahardinthebakeryandwithmychoresplease?!" I asked.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Slow down." He told me.

"Mirabel and Julieta Madrigal asked me and you and grandma to come over for dinner tonight. Can we go? I'll work extra hard in the bakery and with my chores. Please." I repeated, but slower this time.

"Of course we can go, honey." He smiled.

"Thanks so much dad!" I hugged him then left.

"We'll be there." I told Julieta and Mirabel as I returned to the counter.

"Yay! Come at 6, okay?" I nodded, "Chow." Mirabel said as they stared to leave.

"Wait!" I yelled, and they turned around, "How should we dress??" I asked.

"Oh! Like nice casual." Julieta responded.

"Okay, thanks." I smiled.
