Avry took a seat, cradling his face in his hands.

His dark haired, light eyed guardian moving up beside him, "Hey - Hey..." he spoke softly.

"Do not beat yourself up about it," he softly pulled his hands away and smiled.

"No - No... I deserve this. I literally..." the smaller male sighed.

"I thought I didn't have one, I was so angry with you too... you know?"

The guardian tilted his head, obvious that he didn't understand that part.

"Mm, n - not now. Just it's nice to know that I do have one..." Avry trailed off.

He softly rubbed his pants, many questions going off in his head like fireworks. Ultimately he turned to the dark haired male.

"So... I don't uhm... know sign language."

The taller male smiled and shrugged, "I knew that, it is quite alright though."

Avry huffed, "Well how can you tell what I am saying?"

"I read lips."

Avry nearly choked, subtly blushing all of a sudden. Softly face palming himself.

"Duh Avry..." he sighed.

"Mhm, so if you want to get my attention... just get me in your line of sight. I promise I am not being a weirdo and just staring to stare..." the white clothed male hummed.

"Though you are quite nice to look at."

Avry shook his head and blushed again. He looked around, avoiding the male's eyes but kept to where he could read his mouth.

"What's your name?"

The bright male softly chuckled, "Wynter."

The human met his eyes and shook his head, "Your name makes sense."

Wynter softly beamed, "How sweet."

Avry watched him then looked over at the spot on the couch directly beside him, hoping his shaggy haired guardian would pick up on his gesture. Which he did, with a bright beaming smile he sat next to him.

The smaller male started to fidget again, which caught the attention of Wynter.

"Go ahead," he smiled that same, eye narrowing smile.

"Pardon?"

"Go ahead... with the questions," Wynter chuckled.

Avry shifted, mentally cursing himself. Ultimately swallowing his pride and turned to his guardian.

"How -" he started, then immediately paused. Nibbling at the inside of the skin on his bottom lip.

The light crystal eyed male studied him as he though, lightly resting his hands over his lap as he waited.

"How long... will you be with me?"

Wynter blinked, "Well that is but of an odd question," he softly chuckled, "As long as I need to be."

Avry tilted his head, "What does that mean?"

"Mm..." the guardian paused, "Do correct me if this comes out wrong, but you seemed pretty alright without me."
