the fight

𝗐𝗁𝖾𝖾𝗅 𝗍𝖾𝖼𝗁𝗇𝗂𝗊𝗎𝖾

Y/n was up and ready to head to the Miyagi-Do dojo.
She and Sam were leaving together since their father had gone ahead and gone by himself. When they arrived Robby was already there punching the punching bag. Sam got a call from Aisha or so she thought. Y/n walked ahead to give her and 'Aisha' some privacy.

"Hey" Y/n greeted as she walked up to Robby. "Hey" He replied. Just as Sam finished her call Daniel jogged up to them "hey guys! Alright, perfect attendance on day one." Daniel smiled. "So what's our first lesson?" Y/n asked. "You'll see, follow me" Daniel ordered and walked to the front of the dojo. 'Dads pretty happy about the lesson, hopefully, it's good' y/n thought as she followed her dad. At the front was a white bag that held sand. Daniel cut the bag open and drew a circle with the sand.

"If we're gonna play with sand can't we just go to the beach?" Sam joked. "Not today. It's been a long time since this dojo had more than one student and you figure with three people you have three times the defense" Daniel responded. "Well, yeah" y/n replied. "Wrong. One of the cornerstones of Miyagi-Do karate is; always moving in a circle. With the wheel technique, you'll soon see three people are as strong as 30" Daniel explained.

"Now are you ready?"
"Yes, Mr. LaRusso"
"Let's do this"
"Yes, sir"

"Alright get in the circle," Daniel said. Robby and Sam stood across from each other while Y/n stood diagonal from them. "face me, bow," Daniel said. "Face each other, bow" the three all did as they were told. "This seems like a two-person thing the more I stand here" Y/n muttered. "I promise everything will work out" Daniel reassured.

"Alright just copy me" Daniel instructed. Daniel showed the teenagers the moves and after they got the hang of them Daniel let them do the moves by themselves. "Alright now show me the wheel" Daniel ordered. They started from the start before doing moves going around in a circle.

Their moves didn't sync up "no you have to be perfectly in sync or else the technique doesn't work" Daniel stopped them. "Technique? This feels more like a dance" Robby said honestly. "Yeah at what point do we do the hokey pokey and turn ourselves around?" Sam retorted. Y/n snickered Daniel sent Y/n a small glare "alright, guys trust me. You master this and no one's gonna mess with you. Let's try it again"

The teens got in their positions once more before doing the moves once more and just as expected they weren't in sync "no, together, together. At the same time!" Daniel sighed. The three stopped again "how are we supposed to know what the other person is doing if we can't see each other?" Y/n asked crossing her arms. "You need to sense what your partners are doing even if you can't see them," Daniel answered.

Robby and Sam looked at Y/n with confusion written on their faces "how exactly are we supposed to do that? The force?" Sam replied. Just then Daniel got a notification on his phone. He pulled it out and read the message "shoot I gotta go help your mom out with something. Just—just feel it. Alright? I'll be back as soon as I can" Daniel said before heading out of the Dojo. The three sighed in unison and got into their spots once more 'just feel it' y/n thought to herself. "Ready?" Y/n asked the two

"yeah"
"Yep"

The three began doing the moves and since there wasn't anyone watching anyone they bumped against each other and occasionally hit each other as they moved. "There's no way we'll be able to do this without smacking each other in the face," Y/n said defeated. "I think you're right." Robby agreed."How about one of us steps out and helps the other two out?" Sam suggested. "That could work" Y/n nodded. " Alright I call going out" Sam volunteered and stepped out of the circle. "Of course" Robby chuckled.

Y/n and Robby did everything like before except Sam was there to help them be in sync but even then it wouldn't work out. Sam would later switch spots with Robby then Robby with Y/n. This would go on for a few times.

By the time Daniel returned they had almost given up.
"It's alright guys. You guys did good. We'll end class now" Daniel said. Y/n sighed in relief "finally. Honestly dad? I don't know how well master this" Y/n said.
"I've got something planned for tomorrow I know you guys will master it soon," Daniel said with a grin.

"Anyways, let's go home now. Robby need a ride?"Daniel asked "no I'm fine Mr.LaRusso" Robby replied as he slung his backpack around his shoulder. "Alright then, if you need anything don't be shy and give me, Sam, or Y/n a call" Daniel patted Robby's back before heading into his car.

"Well, I had fun dancing with you guys. I'm gonna head to the car" Y/n laughed before going into Sam's white car.
Robby and Sam laughed at her joke before saying goodbye to each other. Sam went to her car and drove back to their house.

The next day they would really be able to sense each other.
