It was Valentine's Day and Demetri wanted to make this day special for Y/n. Though as he planned things out he doubted himself from time to time 'I bet Andy did better things than this' was one of the thoughts that always seemed to sneak its way into his head.

Night had fallen and Demetri had sent a message to Y/n letting her know that he was on his way. He grabbed his stuff and headed to the LaRusso's.

He walked up to the door with a bouquet of (favorite flowers) in his hands. Hesitantly he rang the doorbell.
He could hear Y/n's voice shouting "I got it! I got it" he laughed silently. The door opened and there stood Y/n. His heart fluttered. No matter how many times he saw her he couldn't shake the feelings of butterflies away.

"Hey!" Y/n gave Demetri a closed-eyed smile. "H-hey! I uh got you these flowers...my mom helped me pick them out" Demetri extended the bouquet to her. Y/n gratefully took them and excused herself to go put them in a vase. Once back she stepped out and closed the door behind her "so where are we going?" She asked with a smile. "That's a secret," Demetri said trying his best to sound mysterious.

"I need you to put this on" Demetri pulled out a blindfold. Y/n's eyebrows furrowed together "I'm not gonna do anything weird! I promise. I just don't want you to see where we're going" Demetri reassured. "I trust you," Y/n said and grabbed the blindfold from his hand and put it on. Demetri grabbed her hand and led her to the car. He helped her get in and buckled her up.

He went to the driver's side and got in turning on the car before buckling up. And with that, they set off.

"So I can't look at all?" Y/n asked. "Nope," Demetri replied. "Not even a small peek?" Y/n asked once more. "Not even a small peek" Demetri replied. A few of their favorite songs came on the radio. The two sang their hearts out despite Y/n being blindfolded.

Y/n felt the car stop and turn off. Demetri got out and headed to Y/n's side and held her out. "Alright let's go," Demetri said. While holding her hand and leading her carefully through trees they reached a familiar hill. "We're walking up so be careful," Demetri said.

As they walked up the hill Y/n felt a wave of dejavú rush through her. "So we're here," Y/n said hinting that she knew where they were. "Yes we're here" Demetri mocked. Once they reached the top of the hill Demetri positioned Y/n so she could get a full view of what he had made for her. "Okay you can take off the blindfold now," Demetri said. Nervously he watched as Y/n took off the blindfold. Y/n stared at him then at the things in awe.

A big teddy bear held a poster that said:
'there's no necromancer without an am-U-let'
Beside it was a basket with all of Y/n's favorite snacks and candy. And in front of all that was a small cake with a small red heart in the middle. Y/n ran up to Demetri and slung her arms around him.

"I love it!" Y/n placed kisses all around his face, the last one landing on his lips. "No one's ever done anything like this for me," Y/n said as they parted. "Thank you" Y/n planted a kiss on his lips once again. "I'm glad you like it," Demetri said with a big blush on his face the moon and stars made sure to let Y/n see it.

They sat down on a blanket that was placed on the floor and the two began eating the cake. They talked as they are and once they were both full of cake and candies they laid down. Demetri had his arm around Y/n's waist as she rested her head on his chest. They watched the stars and they twinkled in the sky.

"Y/n" Said Demetri
Y/n looked up at him "yes Demetri?"

"Happy Valentine's Day," He said looking down at her.
"Happy Valentine's Day" Y/n replied and pressed her lips against his.
